Tsukihi, 1~2 hairstyles per book  Incidentally I finally got to listen to the commentary tracks on bluray for nise, lol Gahara-san for one and Tsukihi for the other track, gg That said why people bothering w/ Hyouka, bad mystery w/ zz slice of life and a neo-Kyon MC, even for KyoAni that's pretty low. | ||

The one thing that amazes me about One Piece is how it's still such high quality. Which can't be said of the other populair shonen, Naruto and Bleach. Both had an amazing start but somewhere everything just collapsed. The high quality through the years and the attention to detail led me to belief he had everything already planned. Like, during the baratie arc Luffy mentions some people call the grandline ''paradise'', if I am not mistaken ''Paradise'' is mentioned about 10+ years later at the beginning of the New World. He must've given that name to the first half of the grandline with the fearsomeness of the New World already in the back of his mind. | ||

I'm a fringe fan only due to a lack of time - currently watching Code Geass and LOGH and Fate/Zero and that's about as much anime as I can get to - I think it's a reasonable amount, but I realize you could probably spend all that time on Gundam shows as well. I don't like to wiki story stuff, I generally think I can reverse-engineer good enough (pretty much exactly the same things that people suggested, which was funny), but I think in this case it's more due to the long timespan between episodes that added enough to the confusion to be disturbing. Very funny post ^^ I lol'ed. | ||

Well it's a slice of life anime, it's not supposed to have guns blazing or relationship problems every other episode. Natsume Yuujinchou has a pretty boring plot but it's fun to watch. | ||

Pretty funny that for a supposed Shoujo manga, Natsume manages to get a lot more milage out of what it covers and is still a good work without it feeling dragged out. Hyouka on the other hand is a relatively short LN series with an anime that won't even cover up to all of it and sells purely on animation quality, with little redeeming quality of its own. No one is asking for guns blazing or relationship problems, the former we call shounen or seinen, the latter is shoujo (oh hi Natsume). I am not asking for the sol portion to be on par w/ Aria, nor am I asking for the mystery to be the kind of 'authentic' mystery that some fans of the genre would ask for. I am saying that for both of the genres it covers, the work is thus far pretty underwhelming quality wise. The characters are well used archetypes at best and stale to boring at worst.
