OK look. I saw most of it coming. It was already strongly hinted that Gai knew Shu in the past; it was hinted that Shu's sister knew Gai and she was related to Lost Christmas as well as Inori; it was pretty obvious that Gai would die in the series too (because he was too damned smart)...
But Shu's sister (revealed to be called Mana, I think) going on a craze due to the virus that she wants an incestuous relationship with Shu? I bet no one saw THAT coming. What is the point of this development beside shock values?
What I hated the most was how Shu killed Gai. He did not know what Gai was trying to do and blindly followed what he said. This scene is probably the worst written part of the show by far. A typical person will try to find alternatives before resorting in such a strategy, but Shu just went ahead with it - which is a huge head-scratching moment for me.
I think I will probably drop this show. It's getting way too retarded. I can write better script than this.
Mana went insane because of the Virus, right? That likely is the cause of the incest stuff too. Like, lets say that the 'virus' itself had practically taken over Mana. Maybe the 'virus' wants something hidden with Shu? I wouldn't completely rule out some hidden power.
IDK why Shu decided to just stab through Gai, its true that part wasn't well written. But the end result didn't really matter, since Gai was going to die anyway.
I think Shu stabbed Gai was because Gai was going to die anyways and Gai also loved Mana so he wanted to die with her since he was going to die anyways. Atleast that how I interoperated it...

I think it would actually be more interesting if he kept her friend zoned. Rather than have the MC be lovey dovey with every character, we could have a development in a different direction.

In sentenal's defense, if you see his MAL list, there are plenty of non-mecha anime that he enjoyed (and a lot of anime that do have mechs don't have "mecha" as their primary focus anyway).
Sent just likes lots action, plot, and his wife Fate, and doesn't really touch on the sentimental all that often. I don't think there are a lot of shows that he even bags on. Just R2 and the general stuff that he won't watch and categorizes as "garbage" when in reality he just says it because he has no intention of watching it.

I'm sure it's been discussed on here, but what is the general consensus on Katawa Shoujo? It piqued my interest since I browse 4chan and it gets a lot of (unsurprising) support on there, so I downloaded it since, you know, it's free.
I'd settle for Nanasaki's arc for second best, so there's still some reason to watch it. Although I don't think she's going to show up until at least 2 more other arcs.

The stories for each girl were pretty average. Emi's was supposedly the best. Other than that it's your typical VN except the heroines all have some sort of disability.
