Isn't that how most anime/manga series work out though??? Loved HSotD though

Of course he's trolling, the moment he threw in 'otaku' and 'refined culture'.
I'm sure we all remember how busujima senpai's breasts move faster than the speed of sound, simulatenously, in mid-sumsersault, in order let a sniper bullet pass between them. Pinnacle of anime.

Hmm, I guess I'll try and watch Amagami SS plus. Some routes made me cringe hard, but the other routes were decent.

Ya, even though Amagami SS will go down as one of my most favorite animes of all time, the Nakata Sae arc was just gut-wrenchingly bad (her voice, the music, the narrator, WTF?). It was so painfully bad, I felt like they decided to add in the stupid narrator just cause they were like "well we cant fuck this up anymore, now could we?" -_-;;;
My favorite part about Amagami SS was the OP and ED though. I was kinda hoping that each girl woulda had a original ED like last time, but I suppose thats asking for way too much since this is a "bonus" season. = /
The Kaoru ED is my favorite. It always gets me mellow and deep in thought. + Show Spoiler +

So I watched Rosario vampire season 1 and then I went to read the manga and I can not believe how BAD the anime is compare to the manga. The manga is 100X time better then the anime. The anime is nothing but fan service and 30 sec fight scene with Moka turning into vampire and defeating her opponent with a kick. The anime seems to be 80% fanservice, 10% of Moka and Tsukune staring at each other, 2% plot development, 3% character development and the final 5% in bad jokes.

But the anime has Nana (which happens to be the only reason I know the name of the series in the first place.)

Symphogear + Show Spoiler +Okay this show has impressed me. It was really good, I have no complaints, other than Kanade (the red one) dies in episode 1 wtf. This show has alot of potential IMO. lol@the bad guys looking like sausage men from outer space. Possibly anime of the season if they keep this stuff up.
Symphogear pretty good imo

Also, HSotD manga > HSotD anime. Anime is waaaay more fanservice-y and less story. Don't kid yourself. The plot is stupid and going nowhere even in the manga. People die, but note that its only side characters who suffer this fate. They got away with this in the first few chapters because it was a new series, but now that its become clear that the mangaka is too chicken to kill off main characters, all sense of danger/urgency has been lost. I'm half convinced that the storywriter is aware of how messy the plotlines are at this point, which is why the manga is on indefinite hiatus.
Oh, and the evil teacher is the stupidest shit ever.

So anime in low quality is so terrible. How/where to watch/download anime in hd quality. Google only gives me some links to anime sites that host anime. I know animesuki, but they don't have all the animes. Some are like licensed.

Go to myanimelist, search anime, look for who subs them.

HSotD manga was one of my favorite mangas, and then it stopped updating. ;( It got me into the zombie genre. I didn't really like the anime though, not as...plot intensive in my opinion.

Pretty much what this guy said. It's an adaption of everyone's favorite movie premise, in manga/anime form; this is why we tolerate it, because it is the only one (zombie loan, LOL). Anyways, his analysis is spot on, the plot had momentum, but due to its overwhelming fanservice and shonen-esque scenes the characters wind up in, it has abandoned any form of gritty or dark undertones.
The closest thing you can think of is when that girl cop died, but like he said, minor subcharacter no one gives a shit about.
The whole cast will live, and plot will save them whenever they get cornered by zombies. How do you forsee this ending not retarded? They discover a cure? A montage of how humanity builds a baracade around a zombie-free city? Super zombies that can fight intelligently appear? Hence the 'forever unfinished'. The mangaka duo have been working on thier other stuff this whole time for a reason.
This genre disctinction is what sets the anime/manga back; it's a shounen-esque harem, with zombies as a twist.
Not a dipiction of humanity's descent into chaos and primal instinct ala Swan Song (visual novel) fashion.
You can easily explain it this way: harem hijinks vs. dark humor. They belong to their own types of stories, the first capable of nothing memorable, the latter having potential.

nyatorrents is a good site. it holds all the torrents for high quality and trusted subbers.
Edit: HIghschool dxd is out. Gonna let you all know how it goes in about 20min.

"GOTTA BE GRIMDARK", give me a break. The show had plenty of dark and gritty shit, but because it also had fanservice and "shounen-esque" characters, its not? Additionally, when you keep saying stuff like "shounen-esque" whatever, its hard to take you seriously. WTF do you even mean by that? Why do have you decided that "shounen" is a negative term, or that shounen stuff can't be GRIMDARK?

So, amagami is only 12 EPs? 2 per is kind of weak. Should be one for all and rest for Haruka, obv
