Since Ika Musume won the poll Ill convert those series next. First Ill see how she likes Fairy Tail, since the series stretches out to 100 eps atm, Ill only do up to ep 25ish. I only saw up to ep 30ish, and I gotta say: it was around ep 25 when I started to realize that Fairy Tail was more than just a "decent shounen". But Ill wait for her judgment and if she asks for more anime, Ill see if Ika Musume can come to the homeplate. Also, idk what FMA is, is that like really really good? Ill bookmark that for her later. @ZNF: She watches Disney Channel stuff, you know sitcom ones. Oh ya, she also watched Avatar. That was like the only show me and her watched together when we were younger. But imo that doenst count as a anime, I think?
No you're right it doesn't, it was made entirely by a North American studio (forget which one).
FMA is good, you might want to show her FMA Brotherhood as an alternative. FMA has an anime original ending and Brotherhood follows the original manga story (since it just finished recently). Personally I watched FMA first, enjoyed it, then read the manga and finished it that way. Never bothered watching the Brootherhood anime.
I still have no idea why you thought TWGOK was a good intro series to anime though.

well maybe you subconciously avoided naming school days because we have some people here n the thread who will report you for recommending it.
that aside I think TWGOK is really no anime you should show someone to get into anime in general. TWGOK is best when you have experience with romcoms and harem anime/manga otherwise it might be hard to enjoy TWGOK

Shana 11 + Show Spoiler +SABRAAAAAAC!!!! Can't wait for next week Damnit, I want the bad guys to win, they're trying so hard... I think I'm setting myself for disappointment... I now have to mourn Decarabia already, and I fear Sabrac is coming next.

+ Show Spoiler +Decarabia was like one of those bosses that just got built up and died in two seconds. It was disappointing. Honestly, Yuji just pisses me off like usual, and the good guys are pretty lame too....
Sophia had a nice scene, so she's alright.

So ugh anyone still watching this? C^3 Final + Show Spoiler + Well that was pretty disappointing. That stupid mirror was so imba I guess the 10min restriction was the weakness if you want to call it that. I was expecting that all of the clone would have their senses linked so that they share pain but I guess not.
Anyways, the series ended rather unexpected and terrible. I really hope they decides to do a season 2 because if it ends here that would be pretty damn stupid after them hyping up the possibility after introducing the Family.
Fate Zero + Show Spoiler + Alot of character development. Gilgamesh is conceited as always and looks like he going to betray Tokiyomi. I still dont really understand why would he do it considering Tokiyomi is very powerful and a good partner to win the war. I guess he found Tokiyomi purpose for winning the grail boring. Isievel is sick T_T that was pretty disheartening.
Carnival Phantasm is out already? It was also 20min longs or longer than the others. Is this the last episode? Anyways, the ending was cute :D

+ Show Spoiler [Shana 11] +How could that old hag kill decarabia so easily!?!? I really liked him as a "villain", him dying so easily was like Fecor, who was supposed to be quite strong but died in a split second to that Tenmoku or whatever that moving samurai armor mystes was called. I really wish the tomogara win, the Flame Haze are just lame. And what's up with Shana and all her new fancy powers, and where the hell did that fortress inside the divine gate came from? Did I miss something? I took a look again at last week's episode, but it doesn't seem to explain everything. Maybe I'm just dumb. oh well...

C^3 is supposed to be 25 episodes or something, and split into two parts (seasons). I don't know when the second one is supposed to be out though.

+ Show Spoiler [Shana 11] +Dammit, why are the lame Flame haze still winning. Decarabia had a cool name and wasn't dumb. Why did he have to get fried so fast . I guess that's what happens when your tactical commander guy has to actually go fight, seemed like he knew he couldn't really take a hit. But that thing with the Tenmoku thing cutting through Fecor's "impregnable defense" without a shred of explanation is, well...I call bullshit/hax.

Me: What episode are you watching right now? Sister: Uh... Episode 130, and there is 250 more episodes to watch. Me: Thats cause those are all fillers. *walks away laughing*
Lol, poor thing...

Hayate movie was...kinda bad. It had all its usual comedy and references but for a movie, I felt like the approach and execution were poor. Part of that is due to the short length; it felt more like a couple episodes that would be in a series rather than an actual movie. Hina being cute is always enjoyable of course. Trying to give so many of the characters a decent amount of screen time really hurt it since it was so short and also meant less screen time of better characters. I think the biggest problem was there were no long scenes; it was just a bunch of super short but related scenes. It was a refreshing movie to watch if you like the series and want to see some animated Hayate but nothing to look forward to. Also, + Show Spoiler + Only a quick picture of Athena in the opening? That made me sad considering they put Kayura in it. Hina and Isumi being awesome and destroying stuff could've lasted longer than 2 seconds too...

+ Show Spoiler [hayate movie] + Some of the supposed comedy parts didn't seem that funny to me. The movie in general was meh, and shorter than I expected it would be. The drawing of the characters felt off as well. Maria looked soooooo short in the movie, Sakuya's hair wasn't even the right colour. Hina was super cute and super awesome when massacring robots.
I was surprised that the movie actually takes place chronologically a few months after where the manga is at currently. Summer comiket was over, and maybe the lack the A-tan means her role in being there was over. She was only suppose to stay for 3 months with them anyways and I have no idea how many months it's even been since the manga goes so slow in terms of time.
Was that ghost suppose to be a Kannagi reference? If so, hehe awesome :D. Also the not so subtle hint of her being Hayate's grandmother.

Just want to make sure I understand this correctly.
壁から今にも浮かび上がってきそうな不気味な迫力を放つ数字の群れの中に、顔から赤い血をしたたらせた雨宮さんの首が無数に揺らめき、ぼくらをじっと見つめていた。
Amid the legion numbers that even now seemed to bloom from the wall with ghastly force, Amamiya's visage danced in multitudes, blood tracing her face, fixing us with her gaze.
I don't know wtf is going on exactly here, though I suspect that's the feeling I'm supposed to have atm.
