If you come in here looking for "anime recommendations" then please refer to this chart before posting: Anime Recommendations (as of may 2014). Also, lol people really like to place preorders for Gundam AGE right after it airs, don't they? Look at all those spikes.
bento is so low...
bento isn't simul-casted like the other 3 though, my excuse on why it's so low.
I'm 99% sure that preorders are a gauge of how well its doing in Japan, NOT internationally. Why would Japanese people care about simulcasting, and why would non-Japanese preorder BDs when we torrent everything?
Blast, you must represent the tsundere better. I really can't think of a tsundere example better than Kurisu though and good examples are incredibly rare, but some I think are pretty good include
Rin (FSN) - I also only think of this Rin when someone says Rin and tsundere. Unfortunately, I've only seen the anime, but she still maintains a reasonable balance of tsun and dere, so while she may not be top tier (in anime at least), she's still way better than most tsunderes we get.
Hina - yeah she might be considered overrated but let's not forget she's voiced by Shizuka Itou. beautiful tsundere with a beautiful voice.
Shana - okay this is probably personal bias and she may not actually be a good example, but she is the one who got me into the tsundere archetype. But at least she keeps her abuse mostly verbal and will often sulk in her embarrassed anger while munching on melon bread. so cute.
Haqua - need more haqua! She's only gotten a few good scenes in the entire manga but tsundere level so good.
Rika (Hanban no Tsuki ga Nobura Sora) - I actually really liked this entire anime because it was incredibly short yet the story was good and heartwarming and the heroine is quite tsundere (and even arguably for good reason). Plus the ending.
I know there are actually a lot more good examples of tsundere, but while they may be good, they also don't stand out so I can't recall them (especially if it's a 13 ep series).
Also Blast and Ferrose you gotta read my new blog. Test your Nana knowledge!

good point
Also, Gundam AGE is only simulcasted for like Australia.
Rin is pretty bad, nothing really there. The best part about Rin might well be yuri with Saber, her relationship is pretty unremarkable.
Hina is good honestly not because of tsundere, but rather by being an actually good and interesting character in a series that has too few of those. Take tsundere away from Hina, put any other archetype in, still gonna be success.
Shana yawn, at least she doesn't piss me off.
Haqua is good I guess, though honestly with the amount of things in KamiNomi she can be almost any archetype and do fine in her position.
Rika from Hantsuki is lol - 14:45 ecael lol Rika from hantsuki 14:45 ecael when animes 14:45 ecael showed vol 1 14:45 ecael Rika was almost Louise level tsun for a while 14:45 ecael in the books
She is good but tsundere was actually a pretty big turnoff.
The only other tsundere in the recent years that impressed me other than Kurisu was Nanase from bungaku shoujo (and Shikibu from Nomura Mizuki's following series, who is essentially Nanase version up atm). I mean I can probably look through to see what I have archived and see if anything there impressed me, but nothing really stuck to mind.
I am just going to say this though. A badly written tsundere is still a tsundere, a badly written yandere isn't anything.

Well on Hina and Haqua, I agree but the fact that they are good characters without relying on an archetype is what makes them actually good when they do display tsundere characteristics. Because they don't need to be screaming at their love interest in order to keep the audience's attention, they actually develop a personality besides tsundere and that only serves to help their appeal when they go tsundere. I guess my point is just that a good character who is tsundere still makes for a good tsundere despite the tsundere not making the character good.
Rika, I wouldn't know about the books, and tsundere is pretty much guaranteed to be a turn on for me, so yeah.

I am making a distinction between characters where I actually feel like the gap moe of tsundere makes an impact. So really, a good tsundere and a good character who happens to be tsundere. Quite the difference there, tbh, it is just the easiest archetype to use to grab the LCD viewership so people default to that a lot. So back to my favorite example in Nanase, where the tsundere in fact wouldn't be nearly as cute without that archetype because the character actually got shaped around it.
Inb4 Ferrose comes bitching and tell us about how Louise is better.
I am weak to the kind of circumstances in Hantsuki so I put up with it anyway, but Rika can be a massive turnoff at times. Lashing out because of circumstances is one thing, she was pretty much habitually abusive even after events that softened her up. Can be pretty damned annoying.

what am i supposed to make of this?
Simply making the point that there are really no bad yanderes because they aren't considered as such when written badly, lol.

We talk about curry when we are hungry, not when we are talking about characters.
