Worst "ending" ever. It doesn't even count as an ending. Ouran at least attempted a closure.
That because their going to be a season 2 if i remember correctly.

Either way, it looks pretty good and definitely worth watching either way.
I am just going to called it and say that the main character is the reincarnation of Spinzaku. Nuff said, I am predicting a cross over ending....trust me...it will happen :D Well, for what I gather the writer of Code Geass's script is also the same one who writes the script of Guilty Crown. That might be why the series look somehow like Code Geass.

MC's special power is nothing like Lelouch's power. But if you are just trying to make the point that this show is really similar to Geass, you are right.

+ Show Spoiler + Well of course they dont have the same power lol. I just meant that the way they got their power is the same way. I still think "Pinky" and CC are pretty similar. Pinky is indeed passive but doesnt passive seem pretty similar to dont give a shit? lol well either way, they are both dont show direct emotion or any obvious emotion you can tell which is why I think they are similar. Atleast we both agree that CG and GC are similar :D
ALso, if Gai did get the power of the king....would you not think that it would of transition straight into a Geass plot? Maybe Gai watched code geass and plotted it all out and wanted to be like Lelouche but a stupid high schooler came and ruined it for him? I think this is the truth :3

I think this is the truth :3 + Show Spoiler +Pinky is going to fill the role that CC did, but personally wise they are really far off, other than them both being quiet. Its just the reason they are quiet is alot different. One being apathetic/bored/not giving a shit, the other being beta.
I said this on IRC, but since you are talking about Gai, I guess I'll say it here too. I think Gai (so far) is like a not-evil version of Hayato Gin in the Getter Robo Go manga. Should Gai turn out to be really ruthless, like sacrificing his innocents like Emiya Kiritsugu, or pretty much flat-out ordering people to go off to their deaths, then he will be almost a blatant Hayato clone. Thus far Gai hasn't shown any of the weaknesses or character-faults as Lelouch, so that just leaves Hayato.
I bet that when/if MC pulls a weapon out of Gai, its going to be a big ass drill. You heard it here first.
I hope GC abandons the Highschool angle really quickly.

God I love Guilty Crown.
The subtle fanservice in ep 2 was great xD

The show gets cringe worthy at times, but I'm digging it so far.

Well "subtle" for anime. haha.
It happens at times you least expect it, like in the middle of a heated battle or right before a intense operation. And its not like the obnoxious fanservice that were all so desensatized to. THIS is how fanservice should be done. Something to lighten the mood every now and then.
Also im loving the music so far. The OP and ED are just <3
Though Im till having a hard time adjusting to Inori lip singing with SuperCell. But I think Ill eventually get used to it.

So I went ahead and read up to vol 14 (latest vol?) of Chihayafuru...
... and my honest opinion would have to be disappointment.
The closest parallel would be Ahiru no Sora (good basketball manga btw), wherein an experienced player creates a team with a bunch of talented individuals, many of whom are rusty or getting by via sheer talent, and it takes them a bit to "catch up" on the more historically good schools. The team however is lead by the main character, who's a veteran and is pretty damn good.
The problems start there though. Whereas in Ahiru no Sora you can definitively tell the disadvantage the team has from the start (they go like 0-30 lol) and then as their practice piles up they start making games of matches and start winning, and you can obviously tell how some of the players improve, hit their wall, etc. in Chihayafuru you have this bizarre case of sheer immobility. Chihaya + Show Spoiler +has great athleticism, great reflexes, and has a rare talent for being able to discern a word via the intonation of the first letter but has a fucking mental capacity of an 8-year old, which would be okay if she were a newbie or whatnot but in reality she's like an 8-year veteran professional player. That makes no fucking sense. She's also + Show Spoiler +a slow starter to preposterous degrees which serves as a plot device to create suspenseful matches and also as a plot device to let her choke away big wins.

+ Show Spoiler [Guilty Crown 2] +Inori is retarded. "Did I finish my mission?" Did she forget what she was supposed to do or something?
The MC is retarded. I get that they want a guy you can relate to or whatever, but that doesn't mean you have to make him into fucking Shinji in terms of beta-ness.
The sci-fi elements in Guilty Crown make zero sense. Long distance piloting? Ok, but if the pilots suffer from "feedback" and the mechs still have a massive torso, what's the point? The 3D interface is just downright silly - sweeping body movements aren't exactly an efficient way to control data. Even the stuff in Gundam AGE makes sense from a sci-fi perspective. Come on.
KEIKAKU DOORI. What on earth was that.
Transfer student. Fuck. That. Shit. Also, Kyoani pulled off lip syncing. Why can't Production IG?

Volume 14? O_O I only found volume 10.

+ Show Spoiler [Guilty Crown - 2] +Eh. Not as awesome as I thought it was going to be. It feels like nothing actually happened other than Shu declining the offer to join Undertaker and Inori giving his classmates nosebleeds at the end.

OMG this might be the first season since the season of Macross/Code Geass that I've liked/willing to watch at least 2 animes in one season.

Of the two pictures (middle and left) what anime is that?
And so guys, there's this one anime I remember watching a long long ass time ago. Didn't find out the name cause I was too young :x. Anyways, think anyone could help me figure out what anime it is?
I remember a scene where this kid I think was with some lady (ice lady and no face?) and they were walking to some tower. On the way to the tower like that, the ground was like all ice. And there were bodies in it. Some few minutes later, the lady like covers herself all over the kid (and it was hella cold or something?) and I believe the kid ran away after.
And one other seen with the same kid (protagonist I think) and he was about to be killed, but end up being saved by someone else (Kinda vaguely reminds me of Barret from Final Fantasy 7) with some lady who plays like traditional/oriental music? (Sounds like vietnamese music to me imho).
I think thats what I can remember of it :\ talk about nolstalgia.

I'm making fun of Ben-to and expected Infinite Stratos.
