I'm pretty sure she's still alive. Because when Suzuha first went into the past, she was still with them. So I guess she is probably at her hotel or something, I don't know for sure though. Since Okarin is so obsessed with Mayuri not dying, there is the possibility that he overlooked Kurisu. What I really want to know is what happened to "Shining Finger" since SERN was suppose to have found them and kill Mayuri....
Mazinkaiser SKL This time they made it too short for what it was. Seriously, if it was 3 episodes of the two of them bashing peoples' heads in it would have been fine but there was that random emo moment, random death, and then random recycling of enemy all the while with this bizarro not-really-explained superpowers psychictwin storyline. What.
Edit: Also apparently a really cool character dies in the first 3 minutes.

I don't really disagree with this, since I did feel Mazinkaiser SKL was way too short.
As for middle ground between Jeeg and Mazinkaiser SKL.... Either the first Mazinkaiser OVA or Giant Robo. Both are 7 eps each, and Giant Robo is extremely good/should be watched by everyone.

Gotta say, from the first episode, it looks like it's gonna be a great show. It's like a combination of Jumanji and Jackie Chan Adventures. You guys should definitely check this one out!
actually I was hoping that Usagi Drop would reach the finish lines with this or the next chapter but now it looks like they will continue milking it and it will just get worse

I hate how purple they made Dalian in some lighting, she is 黒の読姫, not 紫の読姫 zz.
Well it improved later on when it was all dark.
But meh, it is an easy series to read, but ultimately this is just a lesser Kino no Tabi. I might watch for the lolz, but don't really have the motivation to keep up.

There are just some things I can't do. I've tried to watch Lucky Star, so I could give it a "I've actually watched the entire thing, and here is what I think" score. I've tried like 5 times. I still got the fucking series on my harddrive from my last attempt (for that matter, I still got Clannad too, from my attempt to watch it lol). I just can't do Lucky Star. Maybe I can do it on my 6th try sometime. Maybe I'll get brain damage somehow, and watch it. But right now, its just impossible. I can force myself to watch stuff I dont like, like how I forced myself to rewatch through all of Evangelion to give that one a score it deserves (aka its a piece of shit). I can do it in some cases, but Lucky Star literally has nothing that interest me. There has to be something in a show to grab my attention, in order for me to finish. If other people like it, well IDK how but good for you, I can't do it.
It still pains me that you would put Clannad and Lucky Star on the same level.
Clannad is better, if that lessens your pain lol. But its just another anime that I've tried to watch, but couldn't.
I think you don't have the right view on Clannad, but you'd have to make it through the whole show, both parts, to really see if you'd like it or not, but there is the problem because you can't even manage to make it through, haha. I guess if you just don't like the characters from the get go you probably won't like it.
Clannad (season 1) does a great job with the slapstick humor, sadly it fails when it comes to the other parts. Hating the main heroine doesn't make it any better either (I stopped watching when there were 2 or so episodes left..).
After story looks good though, so I will have to finish it sometime, but I don't understand how people can praise the first season.
I praise it as a whole. Without After Story Clannad would be "Okay", but After Story makes the whole story awesome
