After rewatching it, I've come to the conclusion that it is bad. Everything not involving an Eva going crazy and fucking shit up was bad. However, parts that did involve stuff about that were pretty cool, and well animated. Because of this, my opinion of the show has been elevated a bit from what it was before. The show itself was well animated, so it has some points there. Too bad every single character sucked, especially Shinji/Asuka/Rei. And the story tried too hard to be deep, with all the "What is reality" crap. What a load of crap, my anime is trying to be philosophical now, and it does it with orange juice.

I've heard Rebuild is alot better, from numerous sources (including a friend of mine whose opinion I trust sorta). I'll watch those soon. But the original and EoE, the ones that people think are so great, I don't get it. Watching the series was a chore with Whiny Faggot, Huge Bitch, and Autistic Albino. EoE was just fucked up.

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai

It's a drama, and is around Clannad level, possibly better depending on what you like.

The music is great, the animation is great, and everything is great. About 50% of this anime's votes on Animenewsnetwork is 10/10, while the other 50% is 9/10 or 8/10.

It's BEAUTIFUL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Also, the opening and ending are BEAUTIFUL. The visuals and the songs

It actually isn't very "like" Clannad in that they are both very masterful animes and have their own style and feel, but yea it has that sort of quality feel ^w^
