but the best part of the manga simply wasn't animated.

Finished Trigun. It was OK for an old series but i kinda hated Vash for a main char... started to piss me off near the end. I liked Wolfwood and even Legato more than him lol.
I saw that there is 2 manga series Trigun and Trigun Maximum. I was wondering if they are similar to anime and is it worth reading them? I didnt really enjoyed the anime so the manga should be alot better to start reading it.

you mean the battle where satelizer sits on top of another pandora and cracks open her chest with her sword? I would have loved to see that scene in the anime but they just skiped it.
I am not a huge fan of the current arc either. It is important to deepen satelizers past and character but man her brother just pisses me off.

The current arc is talking about experiment on turning normal people into pandora by using dangerous drugs!!! what you talk about is some arc that finished long time ago.

well I cant read japanese so the current arc for me is chapter 47 because that was translated recently
and it's probably the same for most others here
|
Yeah, the English translations are only up to chapter 47. New chapters release once every 1-2 weeks afaik. So please don't spoil this arc please lol. Although I hope it finishes soon (like really really soon).

we will probably get one big battle and after that it should be over. So I'd say around 2 more chapters and then the arc is finally over.

I'm very picky when it comes to anime and dislike a lot of what I've seen but the stuff I like I like a lot.
I've enjoyed Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion (especially the new movies that have come out), any of miyazaki's stuff, the first season of death note and Full Metal Alchemist was kind of good but I didn't get through the whole thing.
I definetly don't like Bleach, Naruto and One Piece they don't really appeal to me and i'm looking for more serious anime with a focused plot (without dragged out filler episodes/seasons)
Thanks. You should watch Code Geass then, it's only 2 seasons and has a surprisingly good english dub (imo).
I've watched some of Code Geass and people keep telling me it's really good but I can't really get into it. I'm not sure why my anime taste is so specific but the ones I've listed really captured me.

So far all their attempts, including this one, has just been fairly blind assumptions without asking her directly (granted, she doesn't know herself). Her real wish probably has something to do with the reason she called everyone to the clubhouse on that day.
I hope we get a timeskip at the end and see how everyone turns out after this. I'd be pretty disappointed if it just ends with Menma disappearing and we get no closure on all the other characters' developments/relationships.

I'm not spoiling the plot or anything in the spoiler, i just put it there for people who want to know what the episode is about (not in detail) + Show Spoiler [Amagami] + Its just going through each girl's arc in 1 episode. It covered Morishima, Kaoru, and Sae. So like 5 mins on each girl. Thats about it

+ Show Spoiler [Ga Rei Manga] + Well I finished the manga, and I gotta say it was below average overall. It had some good and cool moments but not nearly enough to redeem it. I also didn't like what the did to Yomi in the last arc ;/. Reviving in such a retarded way -.-;
Also, any word on the last 5 chapters of Usagi Drop? I'd like to finish it.
