I just wonder whether he's super lazy and doesn't try or he actually is getting caught off guard by these attacks. I expected better observation haki - maybe he just doesn't have the will to use it early on. | ||

From the theme of OP, there's gotta be something huge out of it. Maker of will, Passing of time, Inherent and Fulfillment of will. So the will might be from his father -> corazon -> law, whatever it may be, law will have to fulfill it or pass it on. | ||
