Sanji of couse still deserves to be in the Monster Trio and be insanely strong but the other two should be a slight step ahead of him at least IMO. | ||

I didn't see the Sanji fight as being even, to me both in the anime and in the manga it was made clear that Vergo's haki was much stronger and it was hurt Sanji just trying to kick and block Vergo's attacks. | ||

Vergo wasnt even fought seriously with both Sanji and Smoker but he looked much stronger, imagine him in his full haki form agains them. | ||

And he wasn't serious vs Sanji since he only transformed against Law, but I don't think Sanji was at 100% neither so it's hard to judge | ||

Ugh no ... he won't last going toe to toe vs Zoro/Luffy Sanji is strong no doubt. He didn't look good vs Vergo sure but it would probably be because Vergo outclassed him in the armament haki department. Maybe vergo is not the right opponent for sanji. You know like Enel vs everyone pre-TS pre-newworld. Or Perona vs anyone that is not usopp in luffy's crew. Just a hard counter. Since if i am right Sanji is the fastest right ? i think he was more focused on speed than anyone else. I don't think vergo can beat everyone in the same caliber as sanji just because he overpowered sanji once. I think in order to beat vergo you need to have a more powerful armament haki than him if you don't have DF advantage like law did. Zoro seemed to be the one with the most powerful armament haki in the group if i remembered what Oda said once in his SBS was right. And well luffy is luffy. Obviously he is insanely strong in close quarter combat and can go blow for blow with the mightiest. I have a feeling that if sanji goes full 1v1 with Vergo. He should win. I was actually hoping that luffy wouldn't beat him alone but rather with a help. It feels like too ordinary like other shounen where the MC just beats everyone. Doesn't matter how strong they are. Sure luffy beat almost everyone up until now but still we seen from time to time that there are enemies luffy can never defeat at a certain time period. I'd like the idea of one piece not being dominated by MC. | ||

He only resorted to getting Law's heart back when he realized he had absolutely no chance of beating Vergo what so ever. He was getting beaten and Vergo was the one who wasn't even fighting seriously. | ||
