what do you guys think. in the end, aokiji where moving his head up, looking at the grave, and said (or thought it) "don't you think he is incredible?"
for me that was clearly a question at Z asking what he thinks about Luffy. So Aokiji seems quite impressed by luffy.
I know that is not rly canon for the manga, but you still can say that aokiji will help luffy some more
Yeah it was never explained why Ain couldn't use her powers to make allies younger. It seems like a better tool to keep people immortal than occasionally being able to make young adults into children since adults like Robin need more than one touch. I also don't like how her power is too similar to Bonney, but there have been other similar powers like Aokiji/Monet and Smoker/Caesar.

from what i know Bonneys ability hasnt actually been shown and her ability to make people immortal (through some loophole or something) is pure speculation at this point

wow really dont get how i managed to completely miss all that
I find it funny how Z blew up only 2 of the 3 mega volcanoes and everything is just peachy. Wouldn't you think there would be at least some effect from those 2 explosions? Also that last scene where he's basically the incredible hulk vs. the entire marine force is awesome.
The movie was all right (I didn't even wait for subs though), I think that some of the scenes were definitely rushed but that's because you have less time to tell a story with a movie than with the series themselves. Best parts of the movie was whenever Aokiji showed up because I was wondering what happened to him.
That said I'm really wondering what's going to happen with the Mera fruit. Luffy clearly wants it, so I think that he will eventually obtain it. I see the factory going down and Dofa probably getting screwed over completely in this arc.
The big questions for me are:
Who is going to eat the Mera Mera fruit? If it's a Straw Hat, which one?
How can Blackbeard have two Devil Fruit powers? Is it because of his Yami fruit or because, as someone who I don't remember said, because he's got a weird body?
Luffy said that he's going to take on every Yonko, but seeing as Shanks is one of them, how are things going to play out?

I honestly can't see any of the Straw Hats (at least not a current member!? ) getting the fruit. As it stands there's no one in the crew who really seems like they'd benefit from getting a DF. All of the five non DF users have their own fighting styles anyway, and considering it takes time to master a DF I can't seem them at this stage really starting over like that, especially after their recent two years of training (of the five non-DF users I'd instantly rule out Sanji and Zoro using a fruit, I seem to recall Franky saying that he prefers being able to swim, while Nami and Usopp don't really seem to me like they'd really utilise a DF well).

It's never been explicitly stated, Marco is the one who mentions that Blackbeard has an "atypical" body however even he's not sure. I'm rather doubtful that the ability is due to the DF though, as it seems like the kind of thing which more people would know about if it was down to the fruit.

He certainly wants to meet up with Shanks, whether or not they'd actually fight is another matter. While Luffy's interested in taking out three of the Yonko as it is, there's not a whole lot which he'd really gain from taking out Shanks. That said I don't think Shanks'll really remain in his position for long anyway, I personally reckon that he's the Yonko who the Kid-Hawkins-On Air alliance are targeting, so he'll end up being "demoted" so to speak (though that's pure speculation of course).
Oh yeah, just as a return to the discussion to the movie, who do you guys think was the pirate that attacked Zephyr who eventually become a Shibukai? I can only think of Doflamingo for this given the "timeline" or the guy in level 5 I think was a former shibukai that eventually got jailed and is now a member of blackbeards crew? Forgot his name though. Those are the only two possibilities I could see for the one that caused Z to flip.
Well, for the Mera Fruit, I doubt it would be anyone in Luffy's crew who will eat it. Maybe they'll just set it aside and keep it as a memento like the 4 star dragonball for goku/gohan (grandpa not the son). But that's a maybe. I mean, he has done a spoof of master roshi in this arc already. hehe! But again, maybe far fetched but I wouldn't think it is impossible for him to do it in that manner as everyone would expect him to feed it to someone or himself because of the "D" uniqueness. So maybe that will be the twist in the end for this arc and the Mera ends up being in storage.

Indeed - I don't understand why her devil fruit power has not made her one of the most wanted pirates in the world. Imagine if they could get her to turn Garp and Sengoku back into their prime. She could have helped Whitebeard aswell. She's basicly a fountain of youth, and the marines have already showed that they are capable of turning people into mindless slaves.

She already got some more screen time. and she is, because of what you said, one of the more wanted persons.
BLackBeard captured her, and wanted to trade her against a battleship of the marines. but akainu was on that ship and BB had to run.
Later on you can see her, what people belive is, impel down snow area.

There's probably a catch which makes it so Bonney can't be a true fountain of youth.

Well of the original seven mentioned Shichibukai the only three to instantly rule out would be Jinbe, Hancock and Mihawk, all of the other four (Doflamingo, Moriah, Crocodile and Kuma) should have been around at the time, and they all certainly seem capable of making an attack like that. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kuma living up to his epithet of the "Tyrant", prior of course to his change of heart.
I'd be quite surprised if the Mera Mera no Mi was just left around though. Seems like a lot of trouble to introduce a fruit, merely to have it sitting in a box somewhere. Besides leaving DFs around always leads to trouble.
About that Mera fruit. I for once don't think they will even achieve in getting it. Reason to be is, One piece is not like naruto. Every thing doesn't always go your way. I certain that one of the champions will get it, someone that is good and not evil. Someone that will take charge of the island when luffy is leaving it. If that girl would get it (dont remember her name again, but she was introduced and she respected the statue very much). She will probably get the fruit after the chaos that will abrupt when luffy won't get it.

I think they will come out as victors in this arc. I feel like we're back at Arabasta. I was really apprehensive when the Straw Hats came into the Grand Line and almost literally the first thing they do is pick a fight with a Shichibukai ... though they had trouble they did eventually take Crocodile, with luck and perseverance.
Back when they entered the Grand Line, first they do is something I wouldn't have even considered as possible. That's why I think it's possible for a similar surprise when they enter the New World. Destroying Doflamingo I think is something entirely possible, especially since I don't believe we've seen the extent of the training out of any of the monster trio (Zoro especially).
Furthermore there's the fact that the Straw Hats have more or less just come out of defeat. I think it's far too early for them to lose, already. Don't get me wrong, it won't be an easy fight, Dofla won't come down easily. But he will come down.
In a similar vein, I think Luffy will get the Mera fruit because he feels that if he couldn't save Ace's life, at least he will have saved the honor of his getting back his fruit. It's a sort of compensation; Luffy feels that he wasn't strong enough to save his crew back at Sabaody or Ace back at Marineford, so he went to train for 2 years so that he can now protect his nakama. That protection extends to Ace's honor. If Luffy weren't able to get back the Mera fruit, it would almost be as bad to him as losing Ace a second time.
That's why I feel that this will be a firm victory for the Straw Hats. They will get back the Mera fruit and prove that the two years were time well spent. They will defeat their third Shichibukai and undermine the power of one of the Yonko (Kaido sounds like a dick btw). It will be a step forward towards their eventual confrontation with Kaido.
Most importantly, the bounties will be raised after this arc:
kid nami is so cute and 18 y.o. Robin *_*, in general the amount of fanservice in this movie is incredible. I really enjoyed the movie, always amazing how Oda creates those cool Antiheros. Seeing one of the most brutal Viceadmirals we know so far cry at the sight of Z's death shows how much all those current admirals/viceadmirals respected him.
Anyone knows if those new pacifista designs are confirmed for canon? They look kinda ugly and it's hilarious how franky blew 4-5 of them up with one laser although they are supposed to be much stronger than the old ones.
In the end I gotta say I'm really pumped for the still unknown shichibukai, he has to be a fucking beast so be able to cut off 1 of Z's arms and at least admiral level, probably a level 6 escapee.
Oh if the person who cut Z's arm is the unnamed shichibukai it would make sense why they did not name the person despite Z's story being over. However Z lost his arm a long time ago so I assumed it was just a shichibukai that we already knew about, though I guess that person could have been captured and then made into a shichibukai after Impel Down escape/release for some reason because it would be odd for someone that cut Z's arm to have been wandering around without being mentioned.
