I have one question: In the beginning of the Tournament, there were 4 "fighters" which got introduced: Diamante, Dellinger, Lao and this Baby guy. Are they participating as well? Because it seems they are no match to the guys who r at the tourney, except for diamante i guess. Why were they calles out? Or r they the final bosses? It's only round 1 for all the randoms that sign up. The 4 fighters from Doflamingo's squad will appear in round 2 or later. I'm guessing it'll be an 8 man single elimination tournament after the battle royales are over and the 4 FFA winners will each be paired off with one of the Doflamingo guys. Unless there are some major shenanigans that go on (like Luffy being kicked out), it'll probably be Burgess vs Luffy in the finals or maybe they meet in the semis? And good lord did Oda add a lot of named characters this chapter. It seems like almost all of them can be nothing more than fodder though. And then he also threw Bellamy back into the mix. Bets on Luffy one-shotting Bellamy again?
Hmm, i guess that is the solution. With the 4 group winners + 4 of the Dofla Squad, we will get the quarter finals, then the semis and then the finals.
Bellamy getting one-shotted. I'd take that action any day^^
But since the Black Beard crew is nearby,i guess the tournament will be over as soon as Jesus Burgess is out of it. Regarding the physical appearance I would put Diamante and Burgess against each other in one of the semis, with Burgess winning. Then,in the final, BB interfering when Burgess is losing. But regarding the current situation, it is almost impossible to make any preditions at all. Is the first picture on mangapanda something official? Would be cool to see these crews merge into one!

Rebecca's sword and helmet look similar to Kyros, she might be his daughter or somehow related.

BB is an emperor. Oh right! So luffy's final motivation to take the mera-mera will be because otherwise Burgess will take it back to BB, the ultimate insult if BB eats Ace's fruit as well. >.>

you all forget that this tournament is to catch luffy. I dont think BB will interfere. Rather Don Flamingo will interfere.

I'm excited to see who gets the Mera mera no mi in the end. I hope it won't be some random, but rather somewhat relevant in the future, "bad" guy or good guy. This fruit is a powerful one, I wouldn't like it to be wasted :D

I want Bellamy to get one-shotted by Luffy again.
The real fight will be between Luffy and Burgess. I'm not sure how well our hero will do against Blackbeard's right hand man.

Luffy has to destroy Burgess pretty convincingly imo. The real fight will be with Doflamingo :D

I doubt luffy vs burgess will actually happen tbh, something will happen probably between the semis and finals.
I also doubt Lufffy would beat him convincingly, that's like saying he would stomp Marco.
I'm surprised Burgess is the captain of the first fleet, I assumed Shiryu was the second strongest member mostly because he is Zoro's destined opponent but I think it has more to do with Burgess being an original member while Shiryu only joined at impel down.

Luffy has like 100 fleets by now. He just doesnt command them, but they will aid him when in need.

No he doesn't. Any more crew members will ruin the companionship. These guys have known each other for years, and have sacrificed much to be together.
Besides, Luffy has a ton of allies he can call upon when it's time to kick BB's or the WG's asses.

True that. I know what's gonna happen. BB vs Luffy will somehow be "announced" before it happens and EVERYBODY will show up to fight BB. Epicness will happen.
