Also nice catch with Absalom probably being Abusa. I forgot he even existed.
He's shocked because he is getting caught up in the Strawhat crew's momentum. In the previous panel he is telling everyone to be serious so they can plan out a strategy but is ignored by Luffy and the crew.

Doubt it, if you remember from Ace's execution Buggy got super popular after declaring he was the crewmate of Shanks, one of the 4 emperors and an original crew member of the Roger Pirates. I'm guessing he's still weak as hell and relying entirely on his popularity
interesting, everyone in Dress Rosa calls Doflamingo Young Master but his 3 Commanders onyl call him DoFly, well at least I'm assuming the same for the spade guy, since Diamante and Trevor both call him DoFly.
Those 3 are definitely his 3 bigshots+DoFly = probably opponents for Sanji, Zoro, Luffy and Law. Hopefully Vergo somehow makes it back too though.

Buggy is a power house even if he doesn't get stronger. He's like luffy in that his strength is getting people on his side. They said hes the 'living legend'. He talked down to white beard and 'saved' luffy by taking the hit from mihawks. The odd thing is that they say he is the head of the 'pirate expedition society'. I'm guessing everyone that he free'ed from impel down had a choice, run from the law or join buggy and get immunity. Either way its going to be funny as hell as soon as hes back in the manga.
If luffy were to eat a second fruit at all, then its most likely gonna be kumas fruit somehow as already mentioned multiple times in this thread. It would make sense at least.
Will not happen. Changing his fruit powers would completely change the character Oda has created and people have come to know and love over 10+ years. In fact I can say with 99% certainty that the Straw Hats will not be gaining any new fruit powers unless it is in the form of a new crew member somehow (which is becoming increasingly unlikely considering how long it has been since the latest addition).

I wonder why Luffy's crews and ship are so small for his reputation and power.
It wouldn't be changing Luffy's fruit powers, it would be upgrading it. Which happens all the time, and is expected to happen more times before the end of the series. I don't think the Fire fruit is right for Luffy though. He just doesn't seem like the Logia type.
