I hope that won't happen. If that happens I may quit reading OP. I hate logia type. Their powers are so uncreative. Luffy is really unique with his fighting style. Luffy is as cool as he is being rubberman. I don't want him to be Natsu of One Piece. I hate Fairy Tail.

I don't think blackbeard can eat multiple fruits because of his darkness fruit, but because of some other reason.

I have no idea why especially Coby should get the fire fruit. I could see someone of the SH crew getting the fruit, giving them their first logia devilfruit person.
As for the guy talking to Brannew, I think it's Akainu, just judging from his head/jaw-line. Maybe the head Admiral is advised to grow a manly beard to reaffirm his authority. Would be the best reason ever for him to grow a beard.

Did Akainu send an admiral to stop the Straw-hats plans? From the developments of this chapter what I want to know is:
1) How come Bonnie is free.
2) Who is the new Admiral (that Akainu sent?) and who the seventh Shichibukai is.
3) What Doflamingo plans to do with the Mera Mera.
4) How strong these commanders are compared to Vergo who was meant to be his right hand man. (And if Vergo and Monet are alive! Probably not though D= )

But why would Luffy want the fuit that much? I dont get it, does he just want to keep it locked up? I wonder how devil fruits are even found, apparently they grow on random trees or something, two years past since Ace kicked the bucket so I guess it's normal for the mera mera to show up.
Buggy being a warlord has been hinted at for a loooong time, nice to see it. All in all a wonderful in-between arc chapter.
EDIT: Bonnie might be in Impel Down, forgot which lvl is the cold one. Also this 'free writer Abusa' guy might become important in future arcs

I guess Captain Buggy is officially the weakest ever pirate to serve as a Schichibukai ? Interesting to see a captain with a crew consisting almost entirely of people way stronger than he is ( except members of his old crew ).

Doesn't go with his character, Buggy is strong right now because he has a strong crew.
Also, there is one empty chair, the Heart Chair, which might had been where vergo would sit, but i doubt it as Vergo was with the marines all the time.
Considering they're actually going to go inside of Dessrosa, i think its safe to assume that the next person to be taken down by the Straw-hats will actually be DoFlamingo and his crew, with the admiral just coming to pick up the pieces (a broken DoFla crew).

I Remember Aikanu mentioning how dangerous of a fruit Bonnie had, which might actually be true... imagine how much of a difference it would had been in the war between Whitebeard and the World Government if Bonney had actually made Whitebeard younger, Bonnie is like the fountain of youth, it just makes you wonder if people she makes younger actually regains their old strength, vitality and years back, or if its only a mere outside thing.

one very simple reason as to why Coby would get it - Rule of Awesome. Like it or not, Coby's one of Luffy's rivals (especially with the haki-awakening he had in the war) and him having Ace's powers would make for a sick symbolic fight.
edit: the final boss is Blackbeard, there's no doubt about that. Coby just needs something to set him apart from other roku-something users and the fire fruit would be ideal.

There's a long and strong history between Coby and Luffy. It's only a small touch, but the fruit would go a long way to developing depth to their interactions (I have a theory that Coby will defect and join the strawhats at the end of the story or will become admiral/fleet admiral and be one of luffys final battles)
