I don't think he has a minimum distance, he used it for pretty short distances back at Thriller Bark IIRC. Like for example, he propelled himself from the Sunny to the archway that was overlooking the port that Nami was on back then. | ||

It seems like the implication is that Weevil is Whitebeard's unsuccessful clone in the same way that Stussy is Buckingham's successful clone. There's also the theory that Bonney is Big Mom's unsuccessful clone, given her hair color and appetite but lack of gigantism. These are all Rocks pirates as well... so if it all turns out to be true there might also Xebec and Kaido clones out there somewhere... !!! | ||

im very happy with how many characters are being brought back to progress the plot. fight scenes are being kept to a minimum and the story is moving with speed. | ||

I'm pretty sure this implies that all the Gorosei are immortal, which also explains why Law's fruit is so valuable to the government. Maybe that's what Im uses to make more Elders. Although if that's the case then why wouldn't they rebel against Im? If they're already immortal and have complete control over the world government, why do they need him? Maybe he has some kind of leverage against them. Perhaps he can take their immortality away? | ||

Can we just cut out all of the scooby doo shit, find Vegapunk, fight Kizaru and leave? If Oda wants to spend more time on the island, he should at least give us something interesting to chew on like the Kuma flashback or lore dumps on the Gorosei. I honestly don't give a single fuck anymore about the Seraphim. All the novelty has worn off. If they were actually fighting Mihawk then that would be a different story, but this pale lifeless imitation is just so boring...... | ||

So it appears that the traitor is someone that's been on egghead for a while since they've been locking up Cipher Pol agents without Shaka's knowledge. I don't think it can be one of the Vegapunks because they all share a brain and almost all of them are accounted for, except for Atlas, I guess. However, I doubt it's her since whoever the perpetrator was used a gun to shoot Shaka, which is not Atlas's MO who uses her fists like a berserker. So I'm thinking it's either a hidden Vegapunk that's some kind of World Government failsafe or a pirate infiltrator with devil fruit powers that allows them to impersonate a Vegapunk. I would lean towards Catarina Devon but she was last spotted petrified on Amazon Lily, so I'm not sure the logistics of her being on egghead for the last few months works out. | ||

May even fake og Vegapunk's death to keep the marines from chasing, since they'll be hellbent on killing him. And Luffy is bound to be a good distraction. Could it be a second clone from the Rock pirates? Bait CP agents into the island until Stussi appears and then cooperate with her to run away? Kinda late to introduce a new faction though, so if it's a pirate it's more likely Shanks (if he becomes an antagonist) or Blackbeard who's behind this, although us knowing basically nothing about Rock still is kinda shifty and with Stussi, the shishibukai-clones and a lot of the last major fight being about the Rock pirates there definitely would be a lot of setup for it. | ||
