You're right in that as the stakes get higher and the world keeps expanding towards the final arcs, it becomes key on how to manage the world properly so readers won't be frustrated. What pops into my mind is that if you introduce a character, he/she should serve at least a minor purpose instead of just being kooky/cute/whatever. For example, as someone pointed out earlier, I think story-wise five scabbards would have been just as impactful as nine. | ||

Well to me it sounded like he answered to my post and I'm not anti-OP and definitely not flaming all the time how bad Oda is, I mostly enjoy the chapters. I just think that the arc could have been a bit shorter and more focused and I prolly would have liked it more. | ||

I had to go back to the wiki to find what abilities Sanji's brothers had. It seems very likely that he can imbue his leg with fire thanks to his "genetic modifications". They also have some sort of "exoskeleton", seems like that is what stopped Queen's sword. | ||

The WG likes hiding the true history of the world, annexing Wano could help with that. Also bonus reason, the World Government loves to be in control of shit. | ||
