i do agree overall on the point that the strawhats' struggles get watered down if they were all destined by blood though. this point has come up before in this thread too | ||

People when it's finally explained: "What he's special? That's bullshit!" So, like, you guys were fine with Oda saying "His LEG is hot?! No, it's not hot!! SANJI'S HEART WAS BURNING SO MUCH HOTTER!!!" with some connection to his trauma experience with the OKAMA as to why it now lights up without friction... | ||

Just need to watch for the reveals and the rewards. The story in between is set up purely for the plot to progress. | ||

Yamato would also make a good match for Katarina Devon in a vs. Blackbeard scenario, legendary zoan vs legendary zoan and all. Yamato is probably my favorite character from this arc tbh, Katakuri levels of awesome. | ||
