Others like Enel on the moon have not (Uranus?), or were set up fairly recently, like Im and the frozen straw hat. | ||

Just watching the anime until episode 900, I had no idea this existed. Is it considered canon? There's so much mystery around the moon. | ||

Not all of them made it to the anime, but some have like Buggy's adventures finding his crew before getting to Loguetown, or Coby and Helmeppo getting taken in by Garp (the anime embellishes these stories a bit, though). | ||

Yeah. There are a lot of cover stories. Most of Ace's pursuit of Blackbeard was done in cover stories. 1. Pervert nose bleeds caused major problems for the crew during fishman island and almost led to him dying from bloodloss. Sanji then didn't contribute in any way to the arc after that. 2. Lost to Vergo in one hit on Punk Hazard. Broke his leg and was useless the rest of the arc. 3. Landed one hit on Doflamingo and then had to be rescued during by Law in Dressrosa. Was useless the entire arc. 4. Got captured on Zou. Led to Straw Hats being forced to invade Whole Cake. 5. Wound up attacking Luffy on Whole Cake and causing him to hunger strike. Could have very well led to Luffy's death. 6. Created and fed Big Mom the wedding cake, making her snap out of her berserk state and regroup with her crew to kill the Straw Hats. 7. I cannot stress the above point enough. Sanji literally fed the enemy team and is directly responsible for Big Mom's presence in Wano. The Straw Hats are facing two Yonko now 100% because of Sanji's actions. And that brings us to this chapter. Not only is Sanji's incel code preventing him from fighting back against enemy pirates just because they're female, but he's also putting the rest of his crew in danger by leading them into a trap. The only reason Robin wasn't captured was because of Brook and that she's a far more competent crew member than Sanji. And lastly, Sanji hasn't won a major fight since the timeskip. He's been constantly losing and being the butt of everyone's jokes. He is a complete liability to the Straw Hats in every possible way. | ||

We kept hearing how everyone gets slapped and rekt in new world because of the yonkos. Yet here we are and not a slightest danger once again. The crew holding on to their outdated shit tier perspective. Sanji still not evolving and not undergoing a complex character development which is needed for the story to be more rich and interesting. Nothing has changed. Sanji will face big mom and see luffy die and won’t even lift a finger. Oh wait luffy can’t die! Even if he faces 4 yonkos he will survive cuz it dont matter. There is no danger! Like Oda seriously? Who gives a shit about robin, nami, and other shit tier characters that are just there to fill needed plot line? You introduced so many characters, focusing soley on non strawhats ever since time skip and then acting like we WANT these scenes to show up again. Majority of one piece viewers no longer give a shit about other strawhats except luffy and zoro. The story is generating interest only when big players show up cuz oda continues to do jack shit to characters like sanji. Everyone else is boring af except big players now. | ||

He has been constantly getting his ass kicked though, its kind of the opposite of Zoro who 'til he fought Killer basically looked like an absolute machine, lol. We need to get our boy to his big Yonkou Lieutenant fight so he can finally have a proper win in a battle on his record post-time skip | ||

There are quite some valid points to bring up about Sanji but the way they are brought up and the context provided or missed is surprisingly tone deaf. Even the constant eneling 2016ish in this thread was better banter in my opinion. And I personally think we still will get to see Zoro suffer and Sanji roll but even if not why would we need totally synchronised character developments and W-L ratios in a team of 10? And to be on topic it's been a while since Robin was in the front and center of a great fight and I'm very much enjoying this one she got herself into | ||
