What if it's Marco? I'm not sure what his intentions are after losing their war to the Blackbeard pirates or whatever, but perhaps he has goals to live out Whitebeards will which may conflict with Luffy. I'm not sure, they've been allies in the past but I don't see how a clown character such as Weevil would be the greatest enemy ever.
Edit: The wiki says the ninja-pirate-mink alliance are looking for Marco to bolster their strength in their fight against Kaido. Perhaps the greatest enemy refers to Kaido and Luffy will team up with the Whitebeard pirates to fight against him?

and kaido wants to start a war

Weevil isnt a clown wtf? Kizaru said that he is comperable to WB’s youth in terms of strength.
|
I don't mean he's a clown in terms of strength, his personality just doesn't seem to fit with being 'the greatest enemy ever'. He seems dimwitted and it looks like his mother basically controls him. Someone like Kaidou seems much for fitting for that title.

some of the supernovas are definitely going down during the war against Kaidou. Perhaps likes Xdrake and Apoo will stay on Kaidou's side during the war and fight against other supernovas.

I love how important he made them. I Remeber liking bege the least and never would have thought he'd be anything but a throwaway.

I know right? But now we all love him for being badass.

I too didn't like him at all when he was first introduced and when we got to know he joined Big Mom he dropped some more in the likable character chart. Then when he kidnapped Sanji it got worse. Now somehow I like him a lot x]

His devil fruit is still kinda terrible. I doubt he can do much more beyond taking out fodder. There's only so much guns and cannons can do against top-level enemies.

He could probably imbue haki onto the bullets that come outside of him? Could get pretty damn powerful!
|
I wouldn't doubt there are people who make guns good. Possibly through special ammunition or altering the ammunition with haki but they are probably out there. I think Shanks's crew had a well known sniper + that time that Ben Beckman pointing a gun at Kizaru stopped him in his tracks.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Sea Stone infused bullets became a thing.

I liked Bege when he came out, at least concept-wise. He wasn't my favorite, but he was about middle of the pack. He barely did anything back then, but I thought his Al Capone flavor was cooler than like Bonney, Appo, or Killer.
X Drake was my favorite

They used sea stone bullets in Impel Down.

Hmm... I went back to the chapter I was thinking of, and it seems I was wrong. Maybe I read a poorly translated chapter way back when.
Looking at the wiki it seems like the only instances of seastone bullets are the bullets Z shoots at Luffy (this is non-cannon) and Bege threatening Caesar with seastone bullets (which he did not have).
edit: Chapter is out. Big Mom looks truly frightening.

That panel with big mom was extremely well done. Curious how they get out of this mess
