guys here is another lesson i'm teaching you guys, and that is to see things from someone else's perspective, it's important skill to have: This piece is what I call from Mingo's perspective: How can you guys still arguing with me about how manly Mingo is? He obviously resisted luffy's gear 4 punch and drop kick with his face and body for god damn 20 minutes. And then after all that beating he didn't complain, he didn't run away, he didn't cry, he didn't call for help, he did not stay down, he always got back up to intercept some more of luffy's punches and kicks with his body, all he did was took it like a man until that little speedy maggot lost all his stamina from punching too much. The only complain he have is how unmanly this little maggot is when luffy started to hide and ask other people to die for him in order to catch his breath, That's the action of someone worthy of being the Pirate king? and dared to scream out loud that he's going to be the pirate king? the pirate king can't be this unmanly,
It is important skill, here is another example of this lesson but this guy said it a lot better than I ever could.
Sure, hes pretty manly and didn't complain about it. Be he still was harmed. Being manly and being harmed are not mutually exclusive.
how much harm do you think he received from luffy? multiple blows into face and couldn't even break his sunglasses. and all the blood he cough up were from law's attack.
IDK, I'm not a doctor, none of us has phyiscally examined him. Hes been damaged enough suck that most in-universe believe he will go down with Luffy's next strike. Whether or not that is true or not remains to be seen, but assuming it is true, he took quite a bit.
No way he's ganna go down to luffy's next hit, it just not right to have the better man go down to a little pussy who can't fight like a man, WTF happened to the luffy who stood up to Rob lucci of cp9 so that his nakamas won't get pick off one by one? A real man would have stood there and die trying. He is unworthy of his conqueror's haki.

Luffy had to fight against good fighters in the colloseum, and then letting himself being beaten by Bellami for a while before fighting against Dofla.
And I think this is a good way for Oda to show that they are still really strong characters that Luffy will have to beat and that he has not become the strongest of all after the time skip.

So, how do you think this fight will end? Doflamingo winning and the manga ending?
That's for oda to decide, but if Mingo wins it means slavery wins, and he would turn everybody into toys and everybody would work till the day they die. If i were Oda i would have Sabo sacrifice himself when luffy was about to get kill, and takes Mingo to hell with him. Oda already kill ace, so why not kill sabo too.
Why are sunglasses proof DD didn't get hurt, it's not like Luffy's strawhat ever gets harmed except for a few specific times. Anytime Luffy is sent into the ground or a wall the hat should break. Clothing damage has never been realistic in the series.
Luffy running away is more a problem with Luffy's strength than his resolve as it's a plot device that G4 makes him unable to use haki. We already had a Luffy willing to die moment since the time skip with Luffy almost killing himself to stop Noah. Luffy will eventually beat DD and will be a triumph even if Luffy had to get help from others.

Shounen logic, the stronger you are the harder it is to damage your clothes. For some reason.
Tbh, the only completely illogical thing in the last few chapters is Doffy out of the blue deciding to increase the rate at which the birdcage moves. Shoulda done that earlier, would have been a guaranteed win.

Impossible, Oda said that Enel is not the strongest person in the One Piece Universe, and there are people on the Blue Sea who are stronger than he is. Which makes Oda wrong, IIRC.

The human Doflamingo has just been imprisoned by the evil sunglasses this entire time and is actually a super cool, upstanding guy that Luffy will like in 5 seconds and try to make him a crewmember.
