Man, that would be awkward.

IIRC, part of his training to invade Soul Society involved getting reduced to spirit form and nearly undergoing hollowification. they ripped his soul chain or whatever out and told him if he could conquer his inner hollow he'd turn into a soul reaper and if not he'd die i think tbh that still doesnt explain why he got the vaizard ability if you consider that the other vaizards were all forced with it. ichigo kind of got it like it was natural to him. Actualy, Ichigo had to find his inner Shinigami but he failed to do it in time and started to turn into a Hollow. Urahara and crew were going to kill him but because he got in contact with the Hogioku that was inside Rukia, he turned into a Vizard instead. (Meanwhile, in his inner world, he found his own Shinigami powers as well.) The Hogioku is the same tool Urahara used to turn the "Hollowfied" captains into Vizard before he got banished from Soul Society. You know, that thing that Aizen took out of Rukia and that was actually the main reason why the whole SS arc happened in the end. how would he get into contact with the hogioku while he was trying to awaken his shinigami powers.......if rukia was already taken to SS lol
no. having the chain of life deteriorate (when you're a spirit) = you become a hollow, as he didn't awaken his shinigami powers until after he started transforming into a hollow, he's more like a natural viazard.

new chap out, so theory confirmed huh

*Groaaaaaaannnnnnn*
Bets on Ishida and Ichigo being directly related? Don't use your logic on me. It's about to happen.

It still baffles me how a series like this went down the gutter so quickly. SS arc was brilliant, everything after that a lot less so.

This chapter was really bad. I've had hopes that this would get better, but it doesn't look like it.

It didn't go down quickly. The process started years ago. It's actually an excruciatingly slow process that gradually eats away our souls.

Im just trying to finish what I started so many years ago... But for One Piece it looks like I might have to get married and have children and watch them get married and possibly almost die of old age before it ever ends The best things in life. The important things, are journeys. One Piece takes us aboard it's magical ship, but we are but humble passengers. It may be our time to get off before it's reached it's magical destination, but each moment we spend together on that ship, each second, it is human happiness at its purest. I'm gonna bump this, while making it my new wallpaper, motto, for life. Thanks dude.

Hmm. This feels so much like going to church as a small kid.
Kubo works in mysterious ways!
