Haven't read the last 30 manga chapters or so, just read the last 3 pages of this, but they are talking about prison + some guy just completely owned another, so I'm thinking it's Aizen. He's known to be in prison and he has the power/plotkai to 1-shot powerful guys.

What is gekka tenshou? I know it's not even worth asking but I'm a really curious person and I was just wondering wtf it's supposed to be. No way it's a mistrans and I've never heard of it before.

I dunno, I thought getsuga tenshou had the same name regardless of bankai/shikai. The name he gave it was like kuroi getsuga or some poop.
Please just end it after this arc though, seriously... also really annoying that the captains can't go bankai because some of them are definitely a heck of a lot more fun than ichigo lol.

How many chapters is Ichigo gonna be stuck in that cage? I did like the creepy Rukia picture with the hanging eyeball.
As for the previous chapter (Chapter 500), why didn't they reveal the person with the sword at the end? It felt like a wasted opportunity to reveal whoever it is that owned Kirge Opie. Personally, I think it's Grimmjow. A cliffhanger is the last thing I want on a milestone chapter.
