You read a comment "bleach is stupid" and so you wear on glasses through which you perceive Bleach. You no longer see the things that you appreciate in it, they are ignored at the cost of backing up "bleach is stupid"
Well, it's a good thing you're here to clear everything up or everybody would be a mindless automaton, driven to criticizing Bleach's storyline for absolutely no reason at all! Boy, I shudder to think where we "fuckin geniuses" would be without you! Thanks bro This reason is mostly flawed and an effect of adjustment to the popular definitions of what is valueable, good, interesting, cool and these definitions arise out of conformism and lack of trust in one`s own sense of ability, creativity, intelligence and so on so in the end they arise out of fear of being judged and this very fear impairs the perception of this very manga and many other things. I won`t comment on your reasoning shown in image, I don`t have a showable evidence to prove you its not true and so you too don`t have evidence to prove your reasoning. I AM SO SMART

UFO sounds like a kid who took 1 class of social science and had his mind blown.

i think there is a conformist view
I think bleach's plot is predictable and does not intrige or move me as, pursay, One Piece. Socially, this is why bleach "sucks"
However, the i enjoy the art and i'm mostly curious about what will happen next, whereas i have been following for X chapters.
Compaired to other mangas i have read bleach is on the bottom with naruto, HOWEVER, reading this "sucky" manga is more enjoyable than doing HW, plus its only 3 minutes a week.
In terms of compairing "reading bleach/naruto" with "the rest of life", yes is considered pleasurable/good - thus i read it every weak
In compairson to other mangas bleach is "sucky".
Unless you can tell me something to do with every single moment of life that is more pleasurable than reading bleach (Remeber, if i have 3 free minutes, i can read bleach, so you need to cover 99.9% of the minutes of my life), then i will countinue reading bleach and agree that it is still a "sucky" manga

Eh bleach is crap and got nothing on classics as DB and DB (DB:GT NEVER HAPPENED!)
|
my only problem with bleach is it seems like kubo is pulling a ton of BS outta nowhere just to produce cheap plot twists. that and the pacing is so damn slow, sometimes a whole chapter is one character saying 1 sentence...
|
Look at bleach with all their epic entrances haha.
|
I like bleach and naruto and one piece, Just because a lot of the other people think that liking bleach and naruto is stupid because both have bad storyline(yet still read them and post here about their complains) does not infer I'm stupid and have no taste of a good manga. It is because we don't have the same criteria in judging intellect.
However, because of that fact that these people constantly refer to themselves as stupid and have bad taste in manga without even realizing they are doing it to themselves. That fits part of my criteria in judging whether or not someone is indeed intelligent.

bleach and naruto .. too much talking lately .. we need more action-packed releases!!

I had to re-read this, but did Kubo just retcon Bleach? Wasn't Ichigo reiatsu leaking the reason why Chad and Inoue have their powers?
+ Show Spoiler +
Now, Aizen gives us this explanation?
+ Show Spoiler +
That Hougyoku is what gave them their powers? Am I missing something here? It just seems like Kubo nullified the earlier explanation of their powers. I'm still trying to figure out when it "gave" them their powers. Ugh...whatever. It's also no surprise that Urahara showed up.
|
you gonna believe some jobber 8 year old over aizen? Whatever, misinformation was corrected not the worst thing that could happen. Hougyoku makes a fuckton more sense than "Ichigo is uber badass raaa!" And ofcourse it wasn't a surprise Urahara showed up, who hasn't been waiting for him? Change your diapers before reading Bleach OO Dunno what you expecting of it if you pissed off with this kinda information ;p If you hate Bleach at this point go watch something else cause we all know whats gonna happen, it's all about the wait.
|
Meh, Ichigo/his parents probably have some random spiritual connection to the Hougyoku too and then that transferred to the useless chump friends... or some shit.
|
good find there, TealLurker
|
awesome find. now thats a little confusing already. bleach has been pretty boring with all the chit chat
|
Do you guys remember how they got their powers? Both explanations can work together, Ichigo leaks reiatsu and they turn it into powers because they needed it to fight something.

Due to Ichigo's power they grew to crave power themselves. Thus, due to Ichigo the Hogokyo provided.
I will say Kubo is painting himself into a difficult corner lately... but who knows.
Also, I agree with everyone posting about kids crying about the quality of manga. I mean, why posts about something if you disliked it so much? Wastes even less of your time to just keep going. And besides, its fucking manga people... this isn't the pinnacle of story telling and never will be - enjoy it for what it is, not what you want it to be.

Probably with a failing grade.

Because it's hard to quit something when the jackass author strings you along ten seconds at a time for the last decade. I honestly thought the plot would reach a conclusion 3-4 years ago when they went to take on the espada. If Kubo told everyone that Aizen wouldn't be defeated for five more years, I would quit wasting my time.
Imagine being 85 minutes into a movie, thinking it's about to end, then it turns out to be (crappy version of) the lord of the rings extended edition.
And to everyone saying it needs less chit chat and more action, action is basically the filler that's been prolonging this train wreck. In this case, chit chat= plot advancement.
PS: the granting desire plot device actually explains the typical if I believe in myself and try really hard shonen stuff pretty well. It probably won't, but it could explain Ichigo's random powerups or lack thereof (early grimmjow encounters), chad surviving his battles. But didn't ori/chad develop their powers after rukia left?
