my only problem with bleach is it seems like kubo is pulling a ton of BS outta nowhere just to produce cheap plot twists. that and the pacing is so damn slow, sometimes a whole chapter is one character saying 1 sentence...

I think bleach's plot is predictable and does not intrige or move me as, pursay, One Piece. Socially, this is why bleach "sucks"
And then there are the people complaining "too much talking!!!!!!", and prior to that it was "OMG THESE BATTLES NEVER END Q_Q"
Seriously so much whining about this manga. I guess having a small weekly release pisses people off. -_- It's obviously impossible to satisfy everyone at the same time.
If something is written which is nonconventional everyone is like "Oh, how convenient, VERY unrealistic, blah blah Q_Q etc!" I never see this kind of hyper criticism for any other form of media. For some reason Bleach is held to the highest standards in human history. I've even seen complaints that the events in Bleach were not adhering to the laws of physics. .__.
I've been enjoying it lately. I thought the deaths of the espada were well done and same with the Gotei 13. Wanted to see the outcome of the Gin/Ichigo fight before the Aizen part though Q_Q
The only complaint i have about bleach is how overdramatic it can get, but thats common to ALL anime/manga. one of the things the current plot twist does to bleach is essentially a massive retcon
basically all these things happened that were mildly implausible and when we ask like
"wait how does this work"
the answer is
"dude it's shonen fight manga of course the fights have to be roughly equal or the battles are shitty what the hell do you expect from this genre" or "because ichigo and rukia need party members from their hometown and having ichigo do everything by himself would be super boring"
but now it's like
"no there's very good reason for this and it was all of Aizen's Big Plan (TM)"
which sounds pretty contrived

dont forget that whole other realm that aizen wants to use the king's key to get into, pretty sure theres some crazy overpowered ppl there for ichigo to fight
