This was an OK chapter. But reading this manga one chapter at a time is really too slow.

read it in 2 minutes, bleach really lost the fire after the soul society arc. I guess the first arrancar stuff wasn't that bad, but still...

Hey, I am completely fine with you dissing on everything Bleach right there but the art not that bad. The art is the only thing they got going correctly lol unless the artist develop Turret Syndrome and start scribbling everywhere -.-

I dno. The art's been pretty terrible lately. Kubo puts random lines and vectors all over the place just to fill up space because he's too lazy to draw actual details. His characters in many panels are just basic outlines. In areas where there should be detail and contour lines he's just putting shade patches and not even those are well drawn. Just look at his technique for drawing necks. All you see are a bunch of straight lines that end in a black blot.

Meh I like his artstyle. But he's changing it all the time. He almost never draws backgrounds/surroundings anymore which is really a shame because it keeps his characters almost floating in nothingness. His battles have become incredibly weak, almost incomparable to the beginnings of this manga...

Kubo has managed to master this minimal effort technic. Every damn week you get 18 pages of almost nothing. These mangas are best consumed when you can read 50ish chapters at once. Then it's good again.

Comparison with Oh Great! is a little unfair, though. Air Gear pushes out the same amount of pages biweekly. Besides, Oh Great! is WAY better an artist.

I find Bleach and Air Gear have a sort of parallel history. They both start out strong, but then fizzle down. I guess the difference is that Air Gear lasted longer. The art in Air Gear is really good though.
Now, for new chapter, three different plot lines all introduced in quick succession. This is good, at least one of them has to be good.

Yeah he had a bow like weapon just like Ishida, and the white cloaked men who declared war on the 1st Captain looked like true Quincies.

Wonder which side Ishida and his father will take...hmm....

This is exactly what Bleach's problem is. First an unknown group declares war out of nowhere and then he starts explaining their background. It's far more epic if the tension slowly builds up to a boiling point. It's like he's telling the story backwards.

Still hope Kubo manages to end the manga in an epic way. We'll see what happens.
