You get to chose what Ginjous bankai did, you get to choose Tsuki-boys backstory so you can feel sorry for him and you get to make up scenes that makes us care about the other memebers of spexecution. GENIOUS!

The Aizen arc was really dramatic Ichigo had to go all out to almost defeat Aizen losing his powers in the process. Now this arc we get to see how noble Ichigo is because he never strayed from his ideals in spite of being having the people he loved turn on him and being manipulated by SS. It was a great arc just as important as the Fishmen Island arc in One Piece, the events themselves don't seem important but they're leading to something greater. Next chapter we're finally going to get to see the Soul King guy FUCK YEAH! Maybe get some answers too! Don't you think him regaining his powers cheapens the ending of the previous arc? He had to lose his powers in order to defeat Aizen, but he just regains it in a flash? Him losing his powers against Aizen doesn't seem like that big a deal in retrospect. Kubo had an opportunity to use this arc to fix the mess he created the past 100 or so chapters, but instead he made a bigger mess of things. Can't really blame him too much though. We keep reading and he keeps making money, so why change a winning formula?

the chapter certainly sucked but it was a necessary evil now for the main event

I'm completely shocked anyone could but I basically went through a month of texts between us where I'd call the chapters shit and he'd suprisingly enjoy them. This was the first week he agreed with me that it was shit

Yo dawg, I heard you hate bleach, so Kubo put a disappointing chapter in a disappointing arc so you can feel sad while feeling angry

We keep reading and he keeps making money, so why change a winning formula? I wouldn't really say it cheapens the experience of him having lost his power because the whole fight with Aizen was weird. He didn't even need to use the final form because he was doing well in the fight, but used it anyways yet didn't even defeat Aizen fully when he used his final form so... The overall story is a reset because it still leaves off on the same cliff hanger with the soul king as last time and still teases that it might answer questions about Ichigo and his dad. Let's also not forget the beginning of this arc, Ichigo did have to go through some stuff to get his powers back and gained new powers supposedly too... I think? Anyways we'll see if Kubo actually does anything with the developments of this arc, because while small they do exist.

This whole thing could simply be a gathering of all the required powers needed to compete on a "royal" level. In any case, the rage these chapters cause is entertaining enough to essentially double the content. ![]()

Wondering if the the characters of this ark might transfer or be forgotten like the Vizards. Ichigo's friends might actually get to do something useful next arc which would be shocking. Still holding out for actual story answers for no reason other than Kubo has do give them eventually lol.
