2 chapters later: Ginjo dodges takes the move, bit of banter, further attempts to damage Ginjo shows that Ichigo's attacks doesn't do shit as Ginjo walks out of smoke from attacks. 3 chapters later: Ginjo begins his special move, Ichigo barely dodges, Ginjo reveals it's just a warning shot 4 chapters later: Ginjo begins to explain his powers and unleashes a better version of the special move 5 chapters later: the other captains/Ishida intervenes to deflect the damage, but Ichigo insists on fighting alone because of some shit about protecting everybody. They grudgingly obliges and cheers from the sidelines. 6 chapters later: Ichigo proceeds to get his ass handed to him but keeps crawling up. Why won't you just die? Cries Ginjo. 7 chapters later: Ichigo start attacking again and discovers some new power within and begins to rofflepwn Ginjo. Ginjo's in disbelief 8 chapters later: Ginjo unleashes his final attack attempt, Ichigo in bad condition. Ginjo begin telling his life story. 9 chapters later: Continues his life story. 10 chapters later: Turns out Ichigo actually doesn't give a fuck about Ginjo's past and the fight continues and Ginjo starts to own. 11 chapters later: Riruka intervenes for ichigo, dialog ensues, Riruka gets owned. Ichigo's fangirl club increases size by one. 12 chapters later: Ichigo is inspired by Riruka's sacrifice, spouts some bull shit about attacking own comrades, unleashes main character attack with power level over 9000 13 chapters later: Ginjo lies in a pool of blood and tells the ending to his life story. Turns out he's a good guy. 14 chapters later: Ginjo is apprehended and Riruka goes to live with Urahara. Next arc set up as cliffhanger. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I had a rant I wrote about Ichigo's swords being related to his e-peen (or in this case his soul-peen) but I decided not to post it because it was really, really stupid. Still though, the guy goes through so many fucking sword shapes, from large to small to losing it completely then getting it back through different means. Sometimes it's straight and others it has an angle or it's deformed... yeah you get it. This is what happens with Bleach. It's so boring I start to think of really stupid shit. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any feeling of this being intense at all from beginning to end of this arc. With Aizen, even though his constant transforming was ridiculous, at least it had an explanation and the villain felt strong. Ichigo won by sacrificing his power and I accepted that because it made sense that he had to make a large sacrifice to win against a stronger foe. The shop dude is still running around with Ichigo's dad and will come at the end when no one cares anymore, make a lame revelation and overall it will still be pretty boring. I'm still fairly certain Ichigo is somehow related to the Soul King. | ||
