These plot developments really make me laugh.
He gained fullbring a few chapters ago and it just vanished now and in retrospect it was just a cheep gimmick to explain ishidas and inoues powers as well as give a transition to Ichigo regaining his shinigami powers.
I mean i don't even understand why he made Ichigo loose his powers in the first place after the battle with Aizen.He could have handicapped Ichigo in a much more clever way,to not have the need to come up with such a uninspired filler.......
I'm glad the manga is back to the old path,but man,talk about a dumb dumb arc.

Not sure why everybody is freaking out... seems like most chapters have been fairly predictable based on the previous... until now. We're oddly direction-less again.

Dammit why is there so little new content in every chapter  I wanna see what Ichigo's powerlevel is right now. Can he use his full power? If he uses his full power will he lose his powers again? Is he just going back to what he was pre-Aizen fight/training, i.e. can only do Getsuga Tenshou and slash quickly?

I mean Aizen in normal form 1 shotted all captains with ease and Ichigo 1 shotted Aizen in his hyougekou(?) form so full power Ichigo can wipe out all captains in a second, they became completely useless after we saw Aizen and Ichigos full power
And then what the hell is up with this Spirit/soul King and do these new people have anything to do with that? Since the guy with the memory sword came from some hell dimension it seems plausible that they are related to the Spirit King in some way.
Also iirc in the Pendulum arc there was a captain that got promoted to become a guard for something or what? Like a guard for the King or something like that? Anyone remember what I'm referring to?

I think you are referring to Kirio Hikifune. She got promoted to the Royal Guard (Zero Division). They are probably stronger than the Gotei 13 so I think they will show up soon since Ichigo is going to be imba right now (assuming same power level as when fighting Aizen).

I think she wasn't shown. Just mentioned at the start of the pendulum arc? its been a long time since then, so forgive me if I'm wrong.
Hiyori was her lieutenant too IIRC

I thought they wanted their powers removed by Ichigo or something?

I don't think we have seen her, she was only briefly mentioned in the turn back the pendulum arc anime episodes. I don't remember which chapter of the manga she appears (if at all)
