It feels like they wanted to mix Bollywood and Hollywood and then realized that the whole thing was set in the middle east and they couldn't have will smith do hip hop. Will smith ironicaly being the best part of a bad movie.

Godzilla king of the monsters is not good. Its not "lol you're just a hater who doesn't like giant monster movies" no I enjoyed pacific rim 2 and I didn't like this movie. It doesn't generate hate or anger its just really meh. the giant monster fights are lightning or breath heavy. some humongous ass grabs for plot points that don't make sense or are just facepalm levels of lame.. Great acting performances marginalized by a lack of screen time. For a movie that introduces Rodan mothra ghidora and a wolly mamoth monster its really bland and bad fightwise. I'm sadly not looking forward to kong vs godzilla, not even because thats an obvious kong win every day of the year. Rocketman is going to collect oscars. Edgerton wins actor of the year or I riot. Huge amounts of symbolism that is somehow both subtle yet noticeable by an average joe. Some of the most savage moments I've seen in years. The music was plentiful but used well to make it seem as if it was inspired by the moments in the movie. And the ending scenes were amazing. I'm not going to ruin anything about the movie but seriously if you see one movie out there this weekend or in the next month make it rocketman.

George Clooney and Ben Affleck will be happy thinking they have a shot at losing the title of worst batman ever lol. Tbh Ben Affleck was still like the best batman actor that fit the character so far. Physically i mean like he was the closest to Bruce Wayne in terms of his body language and just looks in general that captured the billionaire secret crime fighter.

![]() Captive State The movie was truly captivating (all pun intended). Very well made piece of cinematography. And it really did give me some hope for Colony's resurrection in the future (if you liked the show, you'll love this movie).

If you liked Superbad it is probably worth it. If you didn’t like Superbad it is probably not worth it. But it’s unclear to me whether you are skeptical of femaleness per se or whether you are skeptical of critics’ comparisons in general, and perhaps think that a “female Superbad” is graded on a curve (because of its femaleness).

i ended up not watching it anyways. only one theatre was showing it today and it was all the way in town. which is weird since the movie only came out a couple of weeks ago.

+ Show Spoiler + It just felt all super cramped up, i mean i think our Cinema broke a bit as it was 8pm start time, was no trailers straight into film within 10 minutes of the silly in cinema previews and it started. Was all over by 9:50....xD The story had moments of wow thats cool or thats good but because it was so cramped it just didn't last long and the story didn't develop. What a strange way to end that mini series of films. I honestly believe XMen 3 was better than that in reality, that might be me being a sucker for Wolverine though. In terms of getting the story close to the comic books, this of course is the better version of the two with the opening sequence literally being accurate to the comic book, even if the rest of the movie was not, it was nice we got something to "lliken" to it due to that opening way of Jean getting her Dark Phoenix powers. The way it ended was nice and accurate way even though it basically had her "controlling" the powers in which in comic book lore she barely does without Xaiver adding restraints and what not which kinda was referenced in the movie but only put on Jean when she was a child. Charles as well, jesus he was portrayed as a monster for most of the film as well, what is that all about, i genuinely halfway through thought, wait, why do i hate Charles Xavier right now, that isn't right! Still for me its a 6/10 maybe a 7 if it was an extra 15-20 minutes longer to draw out some scenes better. I would watch it if you "enjoy" XMen and like Jean Grey as a character. Maybe it is never worth the Cinema ticket fee though so i would wait until its on local TV to watch as you won't miss anything waiting.
