I went to my brother for a rec and was like, i want something light-hearted, and a bit of a comedy and he's like "oh well i got just the thing for ya". I really love that he loves movies so much b/c I'm not that into them, but when i wanna watch something i just gotta give him the vaguest idea of what i want and he keeps hitting the nail on the head every time.

Also watched Ex Machina which I liked a lot. Slow paced thriller - if you are a sucker like me for themes like virtual reality, conscience, human awareness, AI, etc you'll enjoy it guaranteed.

![]() Cutthroat Island I really don't get it why this movie was such a flop when it came out and why is it getting so much flack... It's premium entertainment. Lots of cool action, it actually keeps you interested and some scenes have you on the edge of your seat, some dialogues are truly hilarious and/or brilliant, the sets and props are amazing, there's no CGI/greenscreen in it and it still looks awesome. I've definitely enjoyed it way more than Pirates of the Carribean. It has better characters, better plot and overall everything better. 10/10

Lots of personal stories and videos to go along with it, mostly military point of views from the American and South Vietnamese side though. saw this too. it was really interesting. well made documentary

I've always wanted to get into documentaries, but stopped after Planet Earth. BBC Absolute zero (2 episodes of in total about 1.45 hours), This two-part scientific detective tale tells the story of a remarkable group of pioneers who wanted to reach the ultimate extreme: absolute zero, a place so cold that the physical world as we know it doesn’t exist, electricity flows without resistance, fluids defy gravity and the speed of light can be reduced to 38 miles per hour. Funny fact is that the most famous scientists who got coolingcycles or other stuff named after them, left companies behind with the biggest marketshares in the industrial gasses markets today (linde-gas=scientist carl von linde, air-liquide=scientist george caude, etcetc). Others have nobel prizes and mooncraters named after them or are at the basis of simple appliances we use today, like thermos flasks/cans etcetc. I enjoy this documentary alot because without these low temperatures, almost of of the science that happens today would not be possible. The world and the way we live, rate of globalisation and communication would be totally different or non existent. We would have remained cave trolls. http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/absolute-zero/ If you enjoyed this one, then maybe you would also enjoy "what is one degree", although i rate it alot lower then absolute zero.

![]() Rise of the Footsoldier Decent mafia flick. ![]() Last Knights Decent fantasy flick. Was better then I expected actually. ![]() Conan the Barbarian (2011) I don't get why it's getting so much flack. It's a very good anti-hero fantasy, true to the R. E. Howard's vision. I've enjoyed it greatly.

These documentaries would always make me watch them again: 102 Minutes that changed America Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert McNamara There are other docs that leave an impression like Blackfish, The Act of Killing, Searching for Sugar Man, Grizzly Man. And Bowling for Columbine.

+ Show Spoiler + Screw the new spy movies where people fight arthritis. This movie even quipped how the older spy movies were cooler. I like these kind. Not sure why Arthur was convinced into joining the bad guy though. Considering the bad guy wasn't supposed to know anything about Kingsman making finding Arthur hard, except I guess with the nano tracker. I guess it works. I'll let it slide. Not sure why everyone had chips on their necks. Why not butt? Also the assistant had one but it didn't go off.
