Pretty sure you can kill white walkers without special weapons, but its harder. and people can run you know.

I believe the Red God is the Lord of Light. I believe Melisandre sometimes refers to him as this and is the reason she wears robes of red.

yeah its really sad to see that the tv show adaption suffers remarkably from budget restrictions. Ofc GoT is more about the scheming and plotting hence the name game of thrones. yet I wouldnt mind a bit more action scenes. Sometimes it gets a bit tedious to watch. All that soft porn and torture scenes arent making up for it. Im not against porn but yeah.. its not really that satisfying over and over again.

I imagine fire probably works fairly well [given they're ice ] and they would of had to use that heavily to beat the wights anyway.

its already like the most expensive show ever dude... its almost modern day Ben-Hur.
and maybe they dont want to spoil the massive fight vs undead for a future encounter down the road, who knows.
It was just a large skirmish, not a day long battle after all.

I know it is "like the most expensive show ever dude" yet it suffers remarkably from budget restrictions. One thing does not rule out the other. Its an ambitious project.
And i dont dare to discuss whether or not it would spoil a future encounter in this thread. Lets just say its not the only occasion where i miss the action on screen.

yea its weird, how come characters like theon were focused on the first half of the season then we see nothing of him, sorta like how we don't get much scenes of stannis anymore. Also not seeing enough of jon snow entering the north. They seem to be focusing on kings landing a lot in the later season and dany story line as well. They rotate a lot each episode when i wish we could see progression in all the characters/house in every episode but i guess that's just wishful thinking.
Honestly prefer season 2 a little bit more then season 3, the progression was much better and more structured. And the blackwater episode still is the best episode of the series. Season 2's most uninteresting storyline was the shitty dany and quarth one. Although there are two episodes left in this season, i hope we get to see dany actually do battle with her 10k+ army of great fighters and dragons in the next two episodes, maybe even top the blackwater fight.
Kings landing stuff is pretty good but i think the scenes are too long like the weeding when they could have gave even 5 mins to jon snow or even what happened to theon a bit. Stannis has hardly done anything this season as well, hopefully he starts getting a bigger army, and if he kills baelon greyjoy he could take their fleet and be completely unstoppable on the waters. I think stannis should concentrate a bit more on the north for a awhile since robb is loosing his men and is at the twins and stannis could take the iron islands and begin to take some of the north men under his banner, then he would have the iron islands and start gaining support while robb loses support. Maybe even form somewhat of an alliance with littlefinger and the knights of the vale.
Also dragon stone looks amazing and when dany does invade that will be the safest place in westeros. Stannis for king!

Well they are just following the books (essentially), but this time they are splitting book 3 into 2 parts, unlike the other seasons which each covered a whole book. That's bound make things a bit slower/oddly paced comparatively.

it certainly is expensive but i think they should start marketing some merchandise, like GoT action figures/posters and maps and some other stuff, i certainly would buy a stannis/jon snow action figure.
