I loved how Margaery kept that "Noblesse Oblige" (nobility obliges) thing going, not showing any emotions in public, when Cersei said quite some nasty stuff to her.
She kept smiling to people around her until the moment Cersei threatend her with her life. And even then it just took her a few seconds to get her act together again. I thought that was quite well acted.

But everyone just told you, Sam is one of the smartest characters in the show. He is well read and retains information. He is just a coward, he was raised with fear and disgust so he carries himself as a disgusting person. He assumes no one will love or respect him. He is far from dumb, just awkward. I actually can't think of one "fat" person that was dumb other than Ser whats his name. He obviously was a drunk idiot but none of the fat people in this show other than him fit in your archtype.
Its a weird generalization is all, and I don't think its correct in the slightest. Not to mention you bring up GRRM but imo the smartest person in this show is fat (Varys) and GRRM is a bigger guy so I don't think he has any disposition against them.
Sam is actually one of my more favorite characters. He began a coward who dropped his sword the instant he got hit, to someone who saved a girl and baby during a fight and now has slain a white walker not just killing an "other".
Correct me if I'm wrong I also believe that the white walker sam kills is the same one from episode 1 right?

Please explain more. I don't know any dumb stuff fat people done in this show. Well Hot Pie was written as a simple cook commoner, but everyone else was not dumb. Or are you like others referring to Sam not picking up the knife after just killing the White Walker as something dumb? Because that is not dumb if you don't plan on using it again.

Not episode 1 but from Season 2 finale. It's the same White Walker that was on the dead horse and seemed to stare at Sam (although we now know he didn't see Sam). I personnally think this white walker to be some kind of leader to them (not THE BIG BOSS but maybe a captain or lieutenant of the zombies )

What's confusing me about this whole "Sam is annoying!" saga (besides it being completely ridiculous, of course) is that practically all the reasons to hate Sam could also be applied to Sansa. She's awkward, she had entirely unrealistic expectations, she keeps moaning about everything.. And yet nobody here hates Sansa. I'd like to think that it's not just because she's a pretty girl instead of an overweight dude, but other than that entirely shallow reason, I cannot think of anything..
