The show starts at 9pm but my 5 month old daughter bed time is near 10pm. She starts to get very fussy near 9:30 and I rather not have any interruption. So typically how fast are they on adding the episode to HBO on demand? I think that it is available on hbogo immediately after the episode has aired for the first time.

Anyways I'm watching season 1 for the fourth time in order to explain stuff to a friends who has never read or watched it before. And for the fourth time, the end of episode 2 gave me the chills. Where Bran wakes up right as Ned kills Lady. something about that scene just gets me every time Edit: Damn, the ending of episode 3, still gives me the chills as well. Where Ned watches Arya practicing with Syrio and then imagines them in battle. They definitely know how to end an episode. I think a big part of it is the rising tension in the music.

Except I didn't have a season 2 at the time >_< So I went out and bought the books pretty much right after Eddard died. I simply could not wait another week after something like that. And just looking up spoilers online doesn't do this series justice. ended up halfway through the 2nd book by the time the finale rolled around for season 1 and I didn't even care about it >.>

(Season 1 spoilers I guess) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CLCOvZOh1o I still think this is the best response to such things: http://i0.wp.com/www.geeksaresexy.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/GoTtiming.jpg?resize=620,333 ...and I have to be violating some rule somewhere about posting because I don't think this is only the second time I've posted that in this thread. Oh well, I'll keep it to a link at least rather than the full picture and call it ok. The topic keeps coming up every few months. Four more days until the next season starts? That is like it is already here. It's less wait than between episodes once the season has started.

Jason Momoa sold Khal Drogo perfectly. His speech at the end of You Win or You Die was completely thrilling. Savage and regal and very physical. It's sort of the part that he was born to play, I think. Charles Dance gives the best performance on the show. Yes, better than Dinklage, sorry. His acting and his characterization have been the best part of the show. I think any other actor would have made that scene where he's skinning the stag and lecturing Jamie completely campy. That scene led itself to be so over the top, but instead, it was just really really good. And every scene he has with Arya at Harrenhal was very charming. Blackwater was the most amazing hour of television I've ever seen. More than the season premier of Lost or the Walking Dead, more than College on The Sopranos, more than Codfish Ball. Anyways, it was really good. That being said, Gregor Clegane has a very boring actor.

They both are going to have some amazing scenes together in the upcoming season.
