I'm getting HBO just for this series. ^ I already got it right now, because I dont want to miss it even tough I havent watched anything on my TV since december or sth like that !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I freaking imported the board game (all THREE PARTS of it) from the US to China for an INSANE fee and still found NO ONE to play it. I already set everything in place to start this game at any given moment - that was four weeks ago. It really drives me mad 8[

They are very Dark and Gritty. You never know what will happen. Very unpredictable. Try to avoid spoilers

Can't wait for the series, I like all the casted members so far, except Catelyn and unsure about the girl that plays Arya, but there are very few pictures of her so dunno.

There have been enough people getting away with brutal atrocities and crimes against humanity in real life that I don't really get my kicks from reading about it in fantasy. Ok thats ok with me. I loved the books and am very happy this is going ahead with the HBO series.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you mean they don't look like you imagined they would.. we'll just have to wait for some more production shots and such to find out how they look in costume&makeup

HBO always makes top notch television shows, so if the programming is as great as I expect it to be, and I end up enjoying the show I look forward to reading more in the books

There is a certain chapter in a certain book that literally put me in a funk for two days. I was so depressed. Read. This. Series. Murder anyone that tries to spoil you. This is an actual spoiler, don't read if you haven't read the whole series yet. + Show Spoiler + You're talking about the red wedding I guess? That chapter left me an angry bitter person for days after reading that. Also, did the pilot air then? I'm not really sure how all of this works, I'm only assuming that if the show got greenlit then the pilot is finished somewhere. So is there anywhere I can watch it? (legally of course ![]() edit: and phexac, I seriously have no idea what you're talking about. The fact that this series has so many characters and plot lines is what makes it so amazing imo.

I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned how pretty Catelyn is (in the books), but I always pictured her a little like Diane Kruger
