Looked to me that way because the sound started to be heard from his PoV, he also just had a cut across his face as far as i saw. I am sure he will be saved with his fathers army winning the battle. I never actually thought that he got wounded severely. It looked like shock from what looked to him like his final moment was the reason for him fainting. The only wound he received was a cut on his face and that didn't really look lethal to be honest. ![]()

At least the show had the courtesy to actually show us a battle this time, I understand there's a budget to worry about ofcourse. Can't wait for the reason finale. On a side note does anyone have a high res screenshot of the wildfire explosion? might consider using it as a background.

All of my common sense from watching TV shows/movies for the last 30 years tells me that they wouldn't kill him off this way. just like ned stark!

It was Ser Mandon Moore, when Joffrey leaves you can hear him order Ser Mandon and Ser Boros to stay w/ Tyrion. In my opinion Cersei took Tyrion's threat seriously last episode and orded Ser Mandon to make sure he didn't return from the battle.

The series just won't be the same without him : ( What indication is there that he is dead? Looks to me like he got a slash across the face and his squire came in and killed the kingsguard before he could finish Tyrion off.

Tyrion wasn't played by Sean Bean. Sean Bean dies in like pretty much everything he's in I think. NSFW, violent/spoilers:+ Show Spoiler +

No...Ned Stark died in a very dramatic scene where his head was chopped off. Tyrion was ambiguously left lying on the ground. There's a big difference.

Anyone notice the amount of singing in this episode? Much more like the books. Which brings me to my question: Was the song played at the credits a song from the books? ![]() ![]()
