The argument about Stannis being a killer didn't really convince me, since Nedd was the one who supported Stannis's claim to the throne. Don't know why Stannis would want to hurt her. I think Dog has left quite the impression on Sansa several times... So if he promises her to bring her home to Winterfell, it seems legit for her to believe him imo. But btw... did she actually say for sure, that she would go w/ him? No, I don't know about the books (and don't want to know, obviously), but in the episode it's a bit of a mystery. She looks at that doll of hers, like she's thinking about it, and then that's all we see. I hope she doesn't. It seems a bit creepy and out-of-the-blue that the Hound would suddenly care about her well-being. Although I loved their dialogue. Sansa's "You won't hurt me," sounded perfectly halfway between a command and a question. Really well delivered. How is it out of the blue? He's consistently showed he cares about her, from the first time he told her she should just follow Joffrey's demands so that she doesn't get slapped, to when he went to rescue her from getting raped during the riot, to this, and probably many other instances that I don't explicitly remember. It is possible that he cares for her, but as far as his character goes (just in this episode, in his dialogue in the tavern -- the man lives to kill things), it seems a bit out of the blue. To me.
The hound seems to have more anger and hatred for men of war. Although he said he killed women he was probably talking about a time in his past, you can imagine a man would be bitter and hate the world for being scarred in such a way and probably treated bad all his life because of it. Maybe he sees in Sansa a helpless and passive creature which he wants to protect.
PS yeah epic episode, loved a lot of the developments. The wild fire was fucking awesome, what a cool graphic. Only makes me wish more and more that they will some day make a warhammer film. One question, who the fuck was that child on cersei's lap in the throne room?? I must have missed something. I thought it might be like a way of showing how she saw Joffrey, but the kid never changed to Joffrey, so who the fuck is he??

It's her son. Cercei has 3 children, Joffrey, that boy and the girl that was sent away. dunno the names.

They are called Tommen and Myrcella.
Excited for next week as it's the last episode of this season and it's supposed to be about 70 minutes long if I understood correctly.

Uh the season finale and then the wait are going to be terrible .. x_x

I think Bronn is one of my favorite characters of the whole show.
there were many scenes where I got chills in this episode.
the one you mentioned, bron shooting arrow into sky, huge explosion, stannis leading into battle with no fear, cersei dropping the poison at the sight of her father. "the battle is over, we have WON" Tywin being a boss.
Great episode

Keep in mind that wildfire is exceedingly rare to the point where many people don't believe any exists. For the Lannisters to have thousands of bottles of it on hand is the definition of a secret weapon. As far as I know, Westeros doesn't have access to any other explosives, so not expecting the ship to blow up isn't out of the ordinary. Davos does eventually see it floating in the water and realizes what it is.

I just loved how it was an ironic, fiery death. Especially for Davos' son who was almost fanatical about his religion.

I know right, when the boy was going on about the Lord of Light and watching over all people and whatever I was already thinking, WHERE'S YOUR LORD OF LIGHT BEFORE THIS NIGHT IS OVER?!
Wildfire. Boom.

Well that is my one fear about the final. There are so many strands that while they arnt going to get closure obviously need atleast a good bit of attention still.
What happends to Jon, where is Rob, the aftermath of the siege, Dany, Arya and Bran. It just seems a bit much for 1 episode and I hope it doesnt get to fragmented.
Also anyone else thinking that Tywin will get Medival on his kids/grandkids. Joffrey has been a total idiot and im sure he will hear that his flight let to the walls almost falling. And he isnt going to give 1 shit about him being "king".

Hopefully Tyrion gets all the credit he deserves...Probably not though.

You do realize that even after the next episode, theres going to be 5 more seasons, right? I'm sure we'll know what happends to every character eventually

I think it was the first time I wasn't staring at the naked girls on screen. The scene with the hound and bron was too intense.
Any particular reason why the hound was trying to start a fight with bron?

To everyone complaining about the time issues with Stannis's sailing and the armies marching, etc, keep in mind he said they would sail once he had consolidated his forces. He had tens of thousands more men that he had to have divided up into the boats, probably putting his own officers in place, and just the general logistics of incorporating so many extra men into his plans. This could have taken quite a while (days, maybe a week, it doesn't say).

Two names.
Tyrion Lannister.
Peter Dinklage.

Holyfuckingshit ! That episode was effing brilliant ! It's not that it was a good siege episode, but also the tension had been building up since the previous 8 episodes ! Damn this show is so good ! I loved cersei scenes, almost as intense as the battle !
