The writers are too overt with the clues for Bran and Rickon. That's why people think they're still alive.
It wasn't single combat, Ned went with a troop of six men and fought three people, Ser Arthur Dayne being one of them. Ned also said that he was about to die in that fight, but was saved by Howland Reed, them two being the only survivors of the fight.
Ned was a top tier swordsmen, but not one of the best. He was BARELY able to escape with his life against the three, even though he had more than double the men with him.

I personally think Theon is a shit king. Shit kings usually do stupid shit moves like burning a shit corpse and telling all the towns people that it is their little kid king

He is an extremely intelligent man. He has been studying her behavior and speech for some time now. I'm sure he suspected she was a high born long ago, but he definitely has not suspected her of being Ned Stark's daughter.

Yeah I agree with most here. Bran and Rickon can't be dead. You just don't cut to a scene and be like "Hey, although you didn't see it, I killed these 2 Major characters in this story and decided to burn them(or whatever he did to cover them in that black stuff) so you can't see their dead faces." Then there are the other clues and stuff above posters have already pointed out.
Besides, they have Shaggydog, Summer, WildlingWoman, and THE incredible HODOR :p

I thought I hated Theon before... but wow... I don't think the corpses were the Stark boys either, but doing that to children...
And it looks like Arya isn't very fond of Tywin anymore, now I think she could use her last kill on him.

Am i the only one who finds the constant questioning of authority of Stark by their bannermen annoying? It is like they do not think all of the remaining Starks are fit to rule, or at least this is how it is shown in the series. It kinda stupid, cause if you get questioned and you dont do anything it only makes it worse everytime altogether.
And Jon Snow is kinda a pussy. He is called brave by everyone, but i just cant see What he does is completely the opposite. If you dont try to survive in that situation which he is in, you arent worth the survival. He just seems lucky everytime. Martin should really like Jon, to make him last so long.

I was quite upset that Snow didn't just bang the Wildling, so disappointing.
Also, Rob's little medic girl, oh my goodness. Girl be fine.
On another note great episode! I don't want Jaime to die, he's so interesting/great. Also I am getting incredibly sick of Daenerys. I missed not having much Tyrion.

Some predictions. (I haven't read the books or anything but I'll spoiler them in case I'm clairvoyant)

- Obviously Bran and Rickon aren't dead. I think we'll find out that after Theon's dogs couldn't find the scent he needed to assert leadership as quickly as possible.
- Looking at the preview for next episode, it seems that the issue between Cersei and Tyrion is going to be about Tyrion's girlfriend (her name escapes me). The scene where she chases down the other hand maiden and threatens her would be unnecessary unless important later, so Im thinking Cersei found out and either killed Tyrion's gf or sent her away or something, which is why Tyrion said he would hurt her.
- I think we're getting set up for Jon Snow to be another king. It seems as if he is going to find a home within the Wildlings, and potentially lead an army or something back over the wall to steak a claim in more hospitable land.
- I see there being zero chance that Arya gets a successful hit on Tywin. He's too powerful and too well protected, especially considering he thinks that he was the target of the last assassination.
- The medic that is working with Rob definitely appears as a spy. She asks specifically to send a list of items she needs, which seems like the perfect method to send out a coded message. At the same time, why wouldn't she just send a letter using the same means she did the last time..... Not really sure, like to hear what you guys think.
- Jamie seems like he is purposely trying to stir up trouble, and he seems a little too smart for his plan to get stopped that easily. I think he's trying to cause a rift in the camp, people who want to kill him on one side, people who want him alive on the other, leaving Rob and/or Catelyn to be forced to trade him back.

why did Arya freak out about her period and what was it that Theon found in the farm and why did he send the old man back to winterfell?

Because she is now fit to have babies. He found nuts which the stark boys were eating on their way to the village but i dont think they stayed there long.

That's sansa, and its because that means she is now able to bear children, like that conversation she had with cersei in the same episode about that very topic
