That was his point. If you base this type of thing off of the books you risk spoiling things, so your understanding of the characters should be based on what we have seen in the show.

Oh, and I guess Nazgul would be the white walker? But since they recast the white walker to the Mountain, does that mean Nazgul would be the Mountain?

Throughout history Norway have been conquered a number of times, by Sweden, Denmark and last but not least Germany. However the people always supported Norway, and the people was loyal to the king even when he was exiled in UK. I think you got it all wrong

But the difference is, in westeros it was a rebellion force not a conquering force that overthrew the Targaryens. It was more of a revolution. The people living in the kingdom where not happy with the way it was ruled, so they revolted against the current rulers. You're talking about Norway being attacked by outside nations, which is different. In fact, similar to your examples, the Targaryens were the conquerors. They were not native to Westeros, they came there and took it over.

The people dont care who sitts the iron throne. The rebellion was started solely by highborn lords, the average citizen couldn't care less how many northerners the mad king burned alive, they have their own problems and worries.

Of course the people care about who is on the throne. Did you watch the last episode? Remember how the people in king's landing were getting pissed about Joffrey, their current king? That scene was explicitly showing how the commoners do have opinions about who is king. And I don't think they would be too fond of King Aerys Targaryen seeing as how he was going to burn the whole city to the ground when it was under attack. Obviously, who is king does affect their lives. Now, maybe I misspoke when I called it a revolution, since it wasn't an organic movement by the people, but more, like you said, a rebellion by other nobles. Still, the commoners do care who is ruling over them..

Still though, the commoners don't care who the actual King is - they care that they still have food, and water, and that the crime in the city is controlled. King's Landing is starving, and full of thieves and murderers and it seems to the common people that the King and his council aren't doing anything to help them. THAT is why they care; not that Joffrey is the "wrong" king, but because he isn't taking care of them.

Yeah you're right. Probably at this point, anyone is better than Joffrey for them.

My intuition is that Jon Snow is somehow Robert Baratheons fault. That Jon isn't even Ned's baby but is somehow connected to his sister and Robert. Idk, speculation, it just really seems that Jon Snow is not simply Neds bastard with an unknown mother.
