PLZ people don't even SAY you read the books if you did!!! Because when you make a theory about a show (that is all about GUESSING), and someone doesn't agreee with you for several posts, if suddenly that person tells you "ohhh btw ... I read the books" than she basically spoiled you that all you were thinking about was wrong. We can't even make theories about the future of the show without being spoiled here, hell that sucks!!! Believe it or not but I've been gathering my little clues quite well and was kinda happy with the little theory I came up with about Gendry, in fact several people I know told me it made a lot of sense. But now someone who read the book told me I'm grasping at straws that aren't even there so what am I suppose to think ??? I was really looking forward to the moment where the show would prove me right or wrong, but someone had to tell me that I was wrong, because someone read the book and obviously knew better than me.
PLZ BOOK READERS, NEVER TELL US IF YOU READ THE BOOK OR NOT!
Just based on how you react to people's theory, we can understand what's gonna happen in the future, and that's somehow the worst kinda of spoil in a show like Game of Thrones which isn't about "How are they gonna do things" (shows where what's gonna happen is obvious but what matters is how) but about "What are they gonna do" (show where we just don't know what's gonna happen).
I'm pretty sure this would be very much appreciated. Mod edit: spoil spoil spoil Ahhh so we get at it. Finally the book reader wants to play "who's got the biggest" ... But that's the thing boy, I don't want to play that game with you. If I recall there's a thread to talk about the book. Here we're talking about the show. Therefore if you want to go have a knowledge contest about the Seven Kingdoms, be my guest but go do that on the other post not on the one were people who actually have no idea what's gonna happen are talking. Of fucking course my theory makes no sense to you since you got ohhh so many more details on the subject from the book. I don't that's why I came up with this theory. Which from a show watcher's point of view could seem very plausible as I've been talking to people about it and many found it interesting (but they didn't always agree). I don't care if I'm wrong or even if I'm 1000000 miles from the truth, I just want to learn it from the show, not from an imbecile who wants to have the last word on a debate he's OBVIOUSLY gonna win since he got informations I don't. Mod edit: book book book
That's were you're totally wrong, if you were just a little smart, you'd stop talking and admit you somehow ruined someone's pleasure which was of guessing the future of the story. Not a big deal, I'm ok. But nevertheless you purely ruined my little pleasure of trying to guess. There's no trying to justify yourself, you did. Know just stop talking and it's fine.

if not than STFU !!!
EDIT: AND even if what I'm saying is random bullshit, doesn't it occur to you I might just not be as smart as you are, will you spoil the whole story to me because I'm just not as well educated as you? I'll go into the extreme but if someone who is mentally challenge was to make a post about his theory and be totally wrong, you'd feel happy too to fuck his whole theory up? What is this world of egocentric pricks we leave in? people consider something to be logic for them therefore it should be the same for everyone.
So you want to live inside your own little bubble. Yet you share your theories online, and then bash the people who prove them wrong? I'm sorry to disappoint you. If you don't want to know, then don't ask. You also might want to look into some of the rules on this forum. Your whole post before the edit is a prime example on how not to behave.

Teamliquid was kind enough to make an entire second thread for people who read the books to discuss things, i see no reason why anyone should come into this thread and moan about not being able to say anything because they read the books when they have their own thread. leave us uneducated fools to our wild theorising and go back to your own thread.

Emix I was referring to Excludos not you so don't worry about it. Do me a favor in the future guys when you are raging at someone who is ruining the experience in the thread, don't quote the offending post 20x as it is a pain to make sure all the spoilers are removed.

It feels like season two is so much slower than season one was. I absolutely loved s1, but so far I can't really get into season two at all.

I've read the books but when I come to this thread I only speak from the experience of what the show itself has given to the viewer audience, I leave all the other stuff in the back of my head and in the other thread.
Kind of sucks to see yoren Die off as soon as we really get a sense of who he is and why he was a nights watch man. Really loved the story about him and his brother , especially the part about "buried the axe so far in him they had to bury him with it". Sick series , definately my favorite show atm and looking forward to future episodes.
As a side note, they should have Jofferey getting bitch slapped at least once per episode...sneak it into the credits or something =P

I hope to god there's some really nasty end in store for Joff eventually.

Oh god I hope this happens. Somehow I see GRRM throwing us a curveball and keeps him on the throne forever, or doesn't give us the satisfaction of his rightful punishment. But man that kid is pissing me off.

All credit to the young actor, he and the actress playing Sana are incredible.

The beginning of season 1 was also pretty slow though.

My favorite character(s) in the book(s) were/was/is: Arya
From the TV series so far I love:
Gendry and Varys. I think Varys comes across as much more interesting and cunning in the show than he does in the book. I think it's maybe because I found his roles in the book a bit too complicated and irrelevant.
Gendry, on the other, hand plays a really cool role and in the fight scene in EP3 I personally thought he was badass.
PS: MOAR BOOBZ

This thread now resembles one of those top-secret documents being released to the general public, with all the sensitive bits redacted.
Except without black bars but rather "book book book" or "spoil spoil spoil".

We need some more sweet Game of Thrones gifs!!!!

Should start banning people from posting in the thread (if possible) after more than one infraction.
I don't understand how people can't get that and don't just goto the other thread where they can discuss the book/show in it's entirety.

Well that thread has the entire series spoiled, so if someone wants to post something about the ACOK book (season 2), they're kinda fucked in that regard.

I don't know any show that has first episodes of next season continue in same fast way as the end of previous season. All seasons always move in the same way of slower to faster with best stuff always coming up at the end.
