It got a lot of action going and there wasn't a lot of filler. fml Dialogue =/= filler. Deaths, violence & sex do not always further the plot. Most every complaint I've seen is that the showrunners have been forced to take out all the filler + some scenes people enjoyed from the novels ... I don't know how you can think excess filler was holding the series back. I never read the books, so they could be going too fast or at a perfect pace for all I know. But to me, it just seemed that that the second episode didn't advance the plot very far compared to this episode. I don't know exactly how to explain it, but it seemed that the second episode was filled with a little bit too much character building that should've been in the first episode. Again though, I haven't read the books, so my feelings could be all wrong. Because nothing new happened, and nothing said in any of the dialog was anything new. Literally every scene was just reaffirming what we already knew the characters were like, and the situations they were in. Small things, like Arya being found out by someone, and Jon Snow discovering something, were the only developments in plot. Neither of which had any real impact. You can have episodes with a lot of dialog, it just has to tell you something new. I agree with how you feel about the second episode (that nothing happened), and am quite happy with this third one.

I hope this reaches you in time. My father has rejected the offer and plans to attack the North, raiding the shores and taking Deepwood Motte. It's pretty apparent that he's conflicted between proving to his father that his blood is truly iron and not wanting to fight his closest friend. Tyrion would make an awesome James Bond villian.

Yara so ugly... lewl I'm not liking the gay sex scenes... do they do it because they want to be more equal, like fucking Mass effect? Otherwise great episode, moved REALLY fast. Yoren is dead already, wow! Also LOVED tyrion owning the shit out of grand maester pycelle, its great how it seemed hard to hate him when he was helping out Lord Stark in s1, a harmless fellow, but then you see him with a whore (LOL) and whining bullshit artist and its like FUCKYEA!!

Also I don't get why everyone hates on the greyjoys, I think they're fucking awesome. Pumped to see how Robb will react. This might just be the turn of events that the Lannisters need to be able to deal with the Baratheons. Then when they turn back on the north... dragons coming in, fucking shit up? :p edit: just watched the preview. + Show Spoiler + littlefinger joining renly, a battle that the starks win, and finally something interesting is happening on essos. also apparently aryas little trick didn't work out so well.

When I discover a good story, I love to dig myself into the lore, learning everything about the world and its history up to the point where I am in the storyline. While looking for a small harmless detail I already spoilered myself in one of the asoiaf-wikis out there. -_- The HBO thingy is neat, but not sufficient at all.
