I really like this episode (especially since I didn't like the last one). It got a lot of action going and there wasn't a lot of filler.

Although perhaps they need to rush the action since they spent the first two episodes not doing much

Peter Dinklage is REALLY good. It was like reading the book again with some added awesomeness from a great actor!

fml Dialogue =/= filler. Deaths, violence & sex do not always further the plot.

Most every complaint I've seen is that the showrunners have been forced to take out all the filler + some scenes people enjoyed from the novels ... I don't know how you can think excess filler was holding the series back.

I never read the books, so they could be going too fast or at a perfect pace for all I know. But to me, it just seemed that that the second episode didn't advance the plot very far compared to this episode. I don't know exactly how to explain it, but it seemed that the second episode was filled with a little bit too much character building that should've been in the first episode. Again though, I haven't read the books, so my feelings could be all wrong.

Great episode. MUCH better than the 2nd one.

Also, does anyone else think the theme playing when Theon gets "baptized" (not the first time I've heard it either this season) is a complete ripoff of the Blood Diamond soundtrack?

The fact that they switched Asha's name to Yara is making me angry. Otherwise though this episode was quite good.

dat Margery and Renly scene. Totally makes up for that Renly and Loras scene a couple minutes earlier. Was cringing throughout that whole scene.

Pretty cool map of westeros I found just googling. Starting to get hard to remember all the places in westeros. You can see how the planned the attack on the north, starting from deepwood motte from Pyke.
I guess ill put it in spoiler just incase, absolutely no spoilers in this map though. Big image though.

Awesome episode minus the pointless nudity and awkward sex scenes (as per usual). Can't wait to see how this develops, it's bloody twisty-turny politics!

Another episode well done. All the gritty violence and nudity one could hope for. Oh yea the story is pretty good too =)

I'll give you this much. The scene with Theon in the captain's quarters with his daughter was pretty worthless imo.

I sort of agree this time lol. The tease of having that kind of cleavage on Margaery's dress was probably better than seeing her take it off.

I thought the scene between Margery and Renly was really good.
I felt so sorry for Renly lol.

That episode was great in every aspect, loved it.
Like the look of Brienne, such a giant. :D

That was the best episode of Game of Thrones so far ever. The set design, cinematography, dialog, pacing, soundtrack placement, and atmosphere were all simply perfect. My one complaint was the Jon Snow scene, just felt thrown together, disjointed, and unbelievable. Everything else totally made up for it, the Tyrion "montage" was superb. This episode was just elite film-making.

It was also good because there was no god damn Dany.

Yeah that was the least compelling scene for sure. I don't think it was unbelievable though. Maybe the fact that Craster let him live was a bit surprising but outside of that the Lord Commander acted as I would have expected him to. What's he gonna do? Lock Jon up in the brig because he witnessed Craster murdering/giving a child up as a sacrifice?

An episode without Daenarys does feel weird. But Tyrion makes up for that and more.

sorry if this has been asked or answered, but my friend mentioned that the entire homosexual king story line is not in the books, is this true?

Also, I am bad with names, but the old guy that got caught ratting to the queen is the same guy that had the final scene at the end of season 1 right? What was he doing in that scene, like taking off his chains and being nimble (showing that he isn't as old and frail as he acts?)?
