Do what I do. After each episode I spend next few days on 3 different forums talking to many people about that episode, previous ones and future ones (with spoiler or no depending what forum I am on and what topic).
It works great to quell the need to watch new episodes right away that you don't have available for another week.
That is so depressing though, because all people do is complain and bicker about every miniscule detail. For everything there is at least one person who thinks that little thing ruins the series for them and then they explain exactly why in at least 500 words.
zatic: Go to winteriscoming.net and look through the last ten pages or so. Or go to the official gameofthrones channel on youtube.
I didn't notice any major differences to the source material. Though, the reason might be, that there are so many developments.Small adjustments, yes. Probably the natural by-product of art from adversity. And you can't show every dialog, or one season would last 30 episodes.

Only if you let it be. Just ignore the posts you don't like and discuss positive things with others.

That is what I try to do. It just gets overwhelming some times.
at 0:12, isn't that the blacksmith apprentice guy? His name escapes me atm, but he wasn't "there" in the books (being as vague as I can as to not spoil anything)..but this worries me a bit in terms of Arya's adventures.

It looks similar, but it makes no sense. The Lannister's would not send a blacksmith apprentice to treat with Robb Stark, especially if he was a bastard of King Robert's.

Gendry is part of Yoren's group traveling to the wall (along with Arry). It's not him -_-

The character's name is Alton Lannister. He's just a renamed Cleos Frey.
Seriously how hard is it NOT to discuss book related stuff here when there is a huge warning at the top with a link to the thread you are allowed to discuss the books.
is it just me or does anyone else think it would be better if the actors of Davos and Stannis switched their roles?
I always imaginged Stannis to be that big grim intimidating brute - the actor seems a bit too skinny to fit in that role.
I had the same first impression when I saw Davos. However, I don't see the roles being switched since Stephen Dillane doesn't look like he would last 5 minutes as a smuggler.
