Im sure, without the speech, people here would have made a big fuss about it the second a Dothraki steps on a ship.

![]() Overall I really liked it (I'm really enjoying this season), even if it has maybe a slower pace than other episodes I don't consider it a "filler": a few plots advanced considerably (we see Sam's parents and his house, which seems quite impressive, and the evolution of the king+faith politics is interesting) Unfortunately, at least for me, Bran's rescue had been sort of spoiled before the episode so I was expecting Ben's arrival, I hope more will be shown in the next episodes ![]()

But it gets kind of boring. 1 or 2 more talks with the sparrow and he will donate all the Lannister gold to the faith i guess. Kind of sad we did not get rumble in KL part 2 but i suppose they save some Sparrow killing for another episode. I'm happy the High Sparrow has finally evolved from being just "GODS GODS GODS" to someone kind of openly playing the Game of Thrones. I really want to know what his real goals & motivation are, I'm fine with Arya leaving because it means she can finally do something else than training montages. I hope she gets back to Westeros asap. Was kind of interesting to see Benjen as a half-undead kind of thing but i agree with what has been said before: why the fuck didnt he just go to the wall and told them all the stuff he knew. Otherwise im curious if Jon & Sansa will fight Ramsay with just their Northmen & Wildlings or if they will go to the Riverlands first once Brienne confirms the Blackfish is back. Also Brienne & Jaime meeting is pretty much confirmed since they head for the same spot ![]()

- Benjen being alive and saving Bran (as some b**k-readers predicted) was fine. Maybe the coincidence was a bit too strong, like Brienne saving Sansa. - Gilly was really cute, Samwell's dad was a baus - Arya showing feelings was definitely good too, she just cannot get into this nameless role however she tries. - everything KL was brilliant. I can't believe Margery is really into this fairytale stuff, I hope she'll turn on the hippies and help Jaime kill all of them. I had seriously forgotten what Edmure Tully's name was. - Dany's hollywood speech works on a bunch of fools. Meh.

So is he semi-undead? Cursed so he must always stay in frozen lands?

At least we got to see uncle Benjin again.. a little disappointed with how little him still being alive was explained. But having him back is good nontheless, always liked his character since S1.

Does he have some of the walkers powers? Or is he still almost a human who looks a little beaten up and can do what he want? Do you need dragon glass to hurt him?

I think he's a beaten up person who is affected by the same magic the white walkers (95% human, 5% white walker). My bigger question is what kind of magic is Bran under compared to him. I still think it would be hella cool if Bran tried to go south of the wall, and at the process, it just shattered, and the war would begin.

My immediate reaction to your post was "damn it's your fault we have had stupid episodes all season" ^^ This is the first episode I loved this season. It took its time to do its thing and the cinematography was kinda cool. Only the dany speech at the end was meh. But I'm obv biased 'cause this is the type of episode I like, to each their own ofc p:

They should be "no one" but the dude is clearly the stereotypical kung fu master and the girl is clearly the stereotypical jaleous older student. It's weird when they should have 0 feeling about her. I think they even showed the dude wasn't even the dude she meet in Westeros at the end of season 5, just another guy with the same face ? When he died and another dude had the same face as him ? Or do I remember this wrong. Cause if I'm right it doesn't even make sense he has "daddy like feelings" about her, even if we let alone the "it doesn't make sense there is this stereotypical master student relationship between the two" thing Yeah its another dude with the same face. I think they did it that way because Jaqen was so popular. I agree and disagree at the same time with you ![]() I mean even Jaqen shows emotions such as fear or anger in the earlier seasons when he meets Arya. So many points you could attack the series at but of all things you choose this which just happens in real life. Brown eyed/haired people can have alleles for blond hair and blue eyes.
