A. He's a wight and will maybe end up taking a leading role within the undead armies of the White Walkers, hopefully without having 0 IQ like the other wights. Arthas like. The fact the eyes are obscured so we can't see (or not see) a blue glow makes it plausible. Night's Watch is then very dead. Payback is a bitch. B. He is resurrected by Melisandre. Who will likely tell him to slice and dice a few of his killers to ensure the rest of the Night's Watch can take a stand against the White Walkers. Again, payback is a bitch. C. His head is on a pike. Night's Watch gets eaten by the White Walker army since they'll likely focus on the Wildlings and fuck themselves up doing it. If this happens, I do hope the White Walker leader goes up to Thorne and smirkingly tell him how stupid they all were to kill off the one man that might've posed a threat to them. In all scenario's, Olly either gets eaten, thrown from the wall or executed along with the other backstabbers. | ||

Since the way Jon's been presented so far has all been very morally pure and clean, and he dies in front of a cross pretty much like Jesus, I'd be surprised if he returned in a morally ambiguous manner. There isn't really anything so far that hints at some latent evil hiding inside him. We are supposed to like John. If he becomes a White Walker or a wight, then I feel that would suggest that the WW aren't actually evil at all; if he is resurrected by Melisandre, she of the reprehensible sacrifices, then I'd be surprised if she changes him in any way. Whatever happens to him, his image will most likely stay untainted. | ||
