I think I read that Bran's story was way ahead of the others so that nothing would really happen with it this season (whether or not they just give a small update towards the end who knows but thus far there has been nothing about him). Gendry I have no idea about, when he got saved we've heard literally nothing about him and I just sort of assumed that that was it from him but that was just my impression, I have no idea. The Gods situation is also interesting to me, but the biggest problem I had was how the God of Light is portrayed to be and I assume is "good" yet I find Melisandre to be evil. Though I guess we don't really know anything about the Gods and their characteristics so classifying them as good, bad or whatever else probably doesn't make much sense. I just find burning people alive, blood sacrifices, and killer shadow babies to be in the bad/evil camp :D, but at the same time it seems that Melisandre is the main one (through her apparent revelations) driving Stannis to do what is best for the realm (uniting the realm and preparing for the white walkers) while I find that every other claimant to the throne is in it for themselves or at the very least isn't as aware of the "big picture" as Stannis and his crew are. | ||

Serious though its hard to get a read on her. She clearly has powers and knowledge from a supernatural source, lord of light from other sources seems good, yet everything Melisandre does is manipulative and dark. From the start I've wanted to get more insight into the gods, but everything we've learned about the Lord of Light, even the priestess that we saw this season (one that Tyrion saw) just makes the situation more confusing to me. | ||
