littlefinger still has the title to harrenhal. and sansa winterfell. The north, BLACKFISH, the dude i was praying to see in the bolten/snow scene is gonna come back with vengeance and clear out the north for the 3/7 sansa/littlefinger powerhouse. Now we just need the wall the hold the wildlings there to fight the whitewalkers and eliminate all north of north conflicts.

I got unpleasantly surprised there. At least The Mountain is now gonna be around for a little longer.

My interpretation of it was that Tyrion was fascinated by his imbecile cousin rather than the stories of "great men" was because by stripping away the intellect of the human mind you begin to see a more simplified view of the darker side of humanity. In this case it's having the power over a weaker life (the beetle) and the secret desire for violence (perhaps meant to serve as the introduction to the trial by combat?). Alternatively, since it is believed that a trial by combat leaves ones fate up to the gods, perhaps Tyrion is musing that the gods enjoy crushing humans through seemingly meaningless carnage just like his cousin enjoyed crushing those beetles.

Now, I am not accusing anybody, but it sure ruined it for me. Here is what I mean: On May 22 2014 00:49 Dwelf wrote: It would be cool if we get some sort of stalemate where oberyn defeats the mountain but gets fatally wounded, whats the outcome of the trial by combat if both die? is it just a race to whoever goes first? On May 22 2014 00:58 Dunmer wrote: I imagine whoever dies first loses, in your case it would be the case the mountain died and then oberyn died of his wounds(if I read that right). So the mountain died in combat and hence Oberyn won.

are the 100,000 wildlings already passed the wall? did they just all climbed there using ropes o.O . and are those bald barbarian guys are included in that 100k force? Also why did Roose say north is bigger than all 6 kingdoms combined. If you look at the Westeros map north and south land areas are pretty equal in sizes. (assuming starting point of north is the twins)

There are several interpretations that could make sense. 1) Tyrion is comparing his cousin to the gods. Earlier on, he laments how in the eyes of the gods, justice is decided by two men hacking each other to pieces, and has also claimed that the gods are all "such vicious cunts." His cousin kills beetles en masse and nobody knows why. Likewise, the gods must enjoy watching humans get slaughtered endlessly. And who knows why? Human or beetle, they all seem like such pointless deaths. 2) Tyrion wants to know why his father and sister have basically been trying to smash him all his life for no real reason. He doesn't want to die not knowing, just like he doesn't know why his cousin relentlessly massacred beetles. 3) Tyrion is alluding to his cousin essentially being GRRM. First he jokingly talks about moving on to seek out other things, then the look on his face changes as he realizes that while his retard cousin kept killing beatles, Jamie went on to kill a dozen of real people (even family members like the cousin in the stark camp) for seemingly no reason.

So the wildling threat is still hugely real. 100k is a huge as fk number against the 20k armies of westeros The north alone had more than 20k. Rob Stark marched south with his bannermen with 20k men and I highly doubt its the entire army they can muster. Add 60k from Lannisters , some thousands more from King's Landing Army, High Garden, the Vale , thousands more from Stannis and iirc on one ep Renly alone has 100k troops. (correct me if im wrong) well even if I'm wrong, I think Westeros can still muster more than twice of that. (if they are united)

I personally thought that he was a dead man, despite Tywin seemingly claiming otherwise(?). edit: never mind I just looked it up myself.

Seems like the upper limit for all these armies is pretty low compared to the wildlings. 100k + giants. Numbers wise the biggest army has to be mance by a long shot. I think...
