S8 was pretty bad and I'm glad it's over. Someone else mentioned they were playing on their phone watching it and I found myself doing the same thing. | ||

And what I discover : Season 7 (or 8 ?) : Debra : Did Dad killed himself ? Dexter : Yes. Season 1 episode 4 : you see dexter killing the killer nurse and give one more year to his dad who is all smile going out of the hospital. wtf | ||

So basically, through 8 seasons Dexter has made zero character growth and is right back where he started? Awesome.. Him killing himself in that storm at least would have shown he has grown a little, in that he finally recognizes that he causes pain to those around him, and by ending his own life he would be able to stop that from happening to anyone else he loved.. Or going to Argentina would have been even better, because it would have shown that he has finally placed more priority on those close to him than on his need to kill. But just to have him abandon everyone and go start a new life on his own..what a fucking terrible ending. He's just right back where he was at the beginning of season 1; everything that came before that final 30 second scene basically is all for naught. Honestly, what a cheap, cop-out ending.. So, so disappointing. | ||
