Isaac is talking about staying in Miami, despite having already killed a bunch of people, having a man found dead in his apartment and having a police tail, just so he can kill someone in the police department. If that happened he would bring their business dealings in the US to a halt, as police descend on the only suspects they have - the Brotherhood, and their fronts like the strip club. Personal vendettas are fine, not ones against police officers if they know who did it. I got the impression that Isaac was more of an enforcer than a leader. Would the real leaders of the Brotherhood risk coming across the world to LA for a business trip? For a loss that personal, yes. When Dexter looked up the Koshka Brotherhood on his computer at work (same episode where Isaak walks into the trap, I think), it shows Isaak at the top of the "pyramid", indicating that he's the leader. I really enjoyed that scene. On that note, previously I got the impression that Isaak himself was the leader of the Koshka brotherhood. Now it felt weird that suddenly the "boys in Kiev" want Isaak dead. I would've also thought East European mafia would tolerate personal vendettas better than this. When the leader is removed, everyone below him gets the chance to move up. Plenty of people would want him dead.

I had pretty mixed feelings about the episode, I liked the bar scene except for two things. First, the hes gay revelation was kinda boring I wish they had been more clever about developing that bit since it had just been beaten over your head since Isaacs first episode. Secondly theres the whole we could have been friends line that left me cringing, that cliche line needs to die. Though to be fair not much from this season has been that original.

Centrally powered crime groups rarely have top leader coups from the inside. It makes more sense if they've ran the operation as sort of a joint partnership/coucil ran group which is what I felt the writers intended. Unless hes just an upper middle manager for the group. Isaac (Isaak?) was the head of their Miami operations, but it was very clear that he was still answering to people in Kiev. It's just like any other corporation... if the senior manager quits or gets axed, the junior managers all start vying for his position. It makes perfect sense that George (I think that's his name, the strip club guy) would be gunning for Isaac.

He doesnt have to clean it from the plastic, he dumps the plastic together with the body. What i aws wondering, if Victor was Isaac's gay-lover, why did he have a hooker in his car?

I'd say that if he's reckless enough to kill people in another country on a whim then sleeping around is probably well within his repotoire

I've skipped most of season 6, disappointed by season 5 and the first few episodes of season 6. Now that this thread is buzzing, i would like to know if the series is worth watching again.

He didn't have a choice, it was kill the cop or spend his life prison. Killing an off duty cop on your way to the airport doesn't strike me as reckless.

But this season has been awesome, been watching them as soon as they are out everytime. Great antagonist, and Yvonne Strahovski is great!

Dexter will fall because of the only thing that protected him so long, his code, since he won't be able to kill Laguerta.

This was explained in seasons 2, 3 and 5. First he wraps the room in plastic, then he proceeds to kill the victim. He cuts the victim in pieces. Places the pieces into the bags and then folds the whole room into one (bigger) bag with the last part of the corpse in it. In season 1 he shows how he uses ductape for the sequences between the plastic. Season 2 (lundy) talks about the clean and printless environment. Season 3 he shows it to Miguel what he needs and season 5 he shows Luman what to do and how to kill. Also I guess in season 4? (the one he gets the blackout and hides the body in the boxring) he has all the bags in the practice-thingy. So no blood, no pieces, no evidence. It was all in the bags. This is 90% Dexter and 10% my mind about this. I hope it helped. (Soory for possibly wrong written names)
