After that im not sure. I suppose she could try to tell debb from a friendly perspective, in which case debb might attack her or something. She may just compile a bit more information and the season finale will be her putting out an arrest warrant for dexter. I'm betting on her dieing this season though, tbh. Dexter already found the Louis' blood on his boat. So he most likely cleaned it up. Possibly. I wouldnt be surprised if she found a droplet or something. I dont know, we'll see. Maybe your right, that would be a little easy and we have like 4 more episodes to go, plenty of time for her to discover more evidence.

Just saw the episode. Fucking loved it. I hope that Hannah survives this season, my head says she will, but I am still somewhat pessimistic about her chances. She can't become a Lumen II though.
Deb wont die, not after this episode. But I don't know how they will fix the LaGuerta business. Maybe Deb dies to save Dexter from LaGuerta. I thought last episode that LaGuerta was going to suspect Deb as the Bay Harbor Butcher, sadly she got the name Dexter now . That means that LaGuerta will die for sure probably. Damn.. I just realize that while typing this. Interesting.
Great episode!

I doubt she would find anything. Dexter knows his blood and I'd be quite dissappointed if something on the boat gave LaGuerta the concrete evidence she is looking for. I think they will just continue devoting 5 minutes of each episode to LaGuerta finding more circumstancial evidence*
* One thing I really don't get. She never truly believed Doakes did it and after she found out he actually didn't, she didn't start suspecting Dexter without help from a list. Seeing how Doakes was harrassing and following Dexter around.. I mean they even put a police tail on Dexter because they feared Doakes would take him down. Or how Dexter was openly involved with Miguel Prado who she suspected of murdering some district attorney lady. I do know that LaGuerta is more media than detective, but it is surprising she doesn't atleast come to the conclusion of looking intensely at Dexter by herself.

Man soooooooooo much shit spiraling out of control this episode. Next Sunday seems like such a long wait

That was quite possibly the worst episode of Dexter I have ever seen. It's like they completely ran out of budget or took all of 5 minutes to write the script for this episode.

I FUCKING LOVED this episode! so much awesomeness! Like OH HOT DAMNNNN! got me all kiddy as a school girl who just discovered T swift and that her vagina can produce happy feelings! .
Deb's coming out was fucking perfect. Like that whole scene was just awesome. Totally came outa left field even though you could feel it coming the whole time. She sounded like a jealous girlfriend from the beginning of the convo. all i'm thinking is... weeeeEEEEEE-E are never ever ever ever getting back together!
And Isaac at the bar. oh jesus. He is a total. fucking. badass. Who's also gay! dayummmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I have no idea how they can possibly have 4 more episodes.
if they kill off Hannah i will cry. For days. <3 HannahMcKay. I'm changing my id to that next name change i get.
p.s. Fuck LaGuerta. Someone kill that bitch.

I didn't want to spoil myself but I'd really like to know if the guy was right or if he made everything up. Does someone know? Great episode btw, Isaac is such an awesome character. I hate the Quinn arc though, it's so stereotypical. Still the show is way better than Walking Dead imo. When both seasons began I was sure it would be the other way around.
I sure hope you arn't talking about this? Which i will admit has been almost kinda sorta accurate. + Show Spoiler +On October 15 2012 16:00 Akamu wrote:Show nested quote +On October 15 2012 15:38 RebirthOfLeGenD wrote:On October 15 2012 15:18 Akamu wrote:On October 15 2012 15:15 Spicy_Curry wrote: Oh Hannah, where do you fit into the puzzle. This. 1000x This. Something was up during that whole exchange. Either she and Dex are gonna get all fuzzy wuzzy and nakey nakey or it's just a giant tease. I'm hoping for the first one. I hope they don't fuck this up with some dipshit retarded love side plot. They have even on their plate trying to adequately tell one story without going ADHD on us with 5 different sub plots again. If they have any hope of ending the series with any semblance of grace then probably should avoid something that will probably end up going no where. But what if it's a fucking awesome dipshit retarded love side plot? Hear me out. So what if this bitch was way more in on the killings than anyone knew? To the point of manipulating what's his face to doing them while she watched or some sick twisted shit like that. I can see Miranda (yes that's Miranda from mass effect) being a real badass. Cuz I get the vibe she knew something was up with Dexter. And Dexter doesn't really get nervous around the ladies like that. She's totes in the cereal killer club. Slaying apple jack, honey nut cherrios and all kindas of Captain Crunch. She's gonna call Dexter up in an episode or two from now and wanna do dinner. They are gonna go out for a few drinks and she's gonna go off and slay some rando douche guy that hit on her the other weekend right in front of Dexter, wanting him to get in on the fun. Now Dexter will be torn because she's now the love of his life but she doesn't have a code. Dexter will then try to teach her a code and all will be merry while they kill people together and have sex while they wait for the victims to wake up. Instead of tossing the bodies out to sea because Dexter's boat is now sunk she will use the bodies as fertilizer for her plants like she had been doing with all her other kills. (the humidity increase the decomposition process). In a shocking turn of events Marissa will get fed up with Deb riding Dexter's dick about the killings and Deb will get fed up with Marissa because she's still in love with Dexter. Marissa then discovers that Deb is in love with Dexter due to her cereal killer lucky charms sense. Marissa procedes to tell Dexter that Deb loves him. Huge bitch fight will ensue and Dexter will be forced to choose one. Except in either scenario one of them will die. DUN DUN DUN. Except by this point the brotherhood will be on to Dexter and want his head. Although they are unsure how to precede due to him being a cop and wanting to know why he killed Victor. They will see him with his new wifey and use her as collateral to try and bait him into a position that they can kill him. Except they don't realize that she is a cereal killer too and she goes off all count chocula and kills them. Deb arrives at the scene after Dexter calls for help and shoots crazy bitch Marissa so that she can have Dexter all to herself. Dexter arrives just in time to see Deb take the shot and realizes that Deb has a dark passenger inside her just like he does. They make love in the bloody carnage. The season ends on the cliff hanger that Miami metro shows up to a scenario of a bloodbath and while doing the lab work all they are able to find... is... a semen sample!

never drifted into this thread but I have been watching the show since the start. I'll spoiler things in case people aren't caught up... if that's protocol in the thread
+ Show Spoiler +This is the first time in any season where I didn't know who would be the final target Dexter is aiming for, everyone else you can tell about four episodes in. but the possibility of everyone ends up killing each other is pretty sweet in my book even though LaGuerta's side plot should carry over to the next season

Great fucking episode boys, lots of good acting and touching scenes, it was a good setup for what's coming. Can't wait till next week

Isaac and Dexter at the gay bar was nice.
|
For me one of the best parts of the episode was when the cops came to investigate the murder of the assassin guy in Isaak's (Viktor's?) apartment and Isaak said something like "Yes Dex, lets hear what you think" after Debra told Dexter to do his thing. I really enjoyed that scene.
On that note, previously I got the impression that Isaak himself was the leader of the Koshka brotherhood. Now it felt weird that suddenly the "boys in Kiev" want Isaak dead. I would've also thought East European mafia would tolerate personal vendettas better than this.
|
Not if it jeopardises business. Isaac is talking about staying in Miami, despite having already killed a bunch of people, having a man found dead in his apartment and having a police tail, just so he can kill someone in the police department. If that happened he would bring their business dealings in the US to a halt, as police descend on the only suspects they have - the Brotherhood, and their fronts like the strip club. Personal vendettas are fine, not ones against police officers if they know who did it.
I got the impression that Isaac was more of an enforcer than a leader. Would the real leaders of the Brotherhood risk coming across the world to LA for a business trip?

Great episode, so many great scenes. I still think the whole Hannah + Dexter thing is stupid though. Was cool to see the kids again. Damn Aster is growing up fast from what I remember when Rita was still around. Time flies.
